we left home quite early in order to avoid the traffic jam.about two hours later, we came to a nice place. it was near a river. we put our bicycles under the trees and went swimming. it was a very hot day. the water was very refreshing.
after having a swim, we had lunch in the cool shade under the trees. then we went for a walk. we didn't come back home until the night fell.

after lunch we took a walk. there we saw many beautiful flowers and GREen grass. we smelled sweet air. how nice the picnic was!

I went on a trip to Hainan today with my family .We went there by plane. After we got off the plane, we went to the beach to see the beautiful sand and swim there. There were other people there too. We ate seafood like shrimps and craps, and drank some abalone soup.We all didn\'t want to go home because the scenery was so beautiful, and there were so many other exciting things to try,but sadly it was time for us to go. It was definitely an exciting trip.If I have a chance to go there again, i will be more than happy to visit the place again.

不一会儿，我们就来到了黄埔公园。黄埔公园的大门是棕红色的，仿佛像一艘艘巨轮随时准备扬帆起航。门前刻着“黄埔公园”四个金光闪闪的大字，在金黄色太阳的照耀下，显得格外耀眼。大门前面是一排排花坛，花坛中开满了五颜六色鲜花，红的`似火，粉的似霞，白的似雪，黄的似金……一阵风吹过，一股清香扑鼻而来，花儿在风中频频点头，让你赏心悦目。花香吸引了一只只蜜蜂，它们嗡嗡地唱着歌儿，蝴蝶在花丛中跳起了欢快的舞蹈。
走进黄埔公园，穿过广场，来到了小树林，小树林郁郁葱葱。有许多树木，有粗壮的榕树，有翠绿的雪松，有名贵的玉兰树，有婀娜多姿的柳树，还有挺拔的椰子树……瞧，只见榕树的枝干高大粗壮，两三个大人手拉手才能把它围起来，它的树皮皱巴巴的，宛如一位百岁老人的皮肤，它的枝丫向远方延伸，仿佛一位位张开手臂的巨人在拥抱天空。一根根长长的气根，从枝桠上垂下来，就像老人的胡子。榕树的叶子是椭圆形的，翠绿的叶子一簇簇的，密密层层，挡住了太阳，阳光像一把把利剑穿透叶子的缝隙，照在地面，留下一点点光斑。人们在树下乘凉休息。一阵风吹来，满树的叶子在风中摇曳，发出“沙沙”的声音，好像在和我们说：“欢迎你的到来。”
