在我的学习和成长过程中，我一直牢牢记住妈妈对我说的一句话，是这句话一直激励着我不断进步。
记得那是三年级的一天，我揣着刚刚发下来数学试卷，沮丧地走在回家的路上，心想：怎么才考了88分，不知道妈妈看了分数后会怎样，唉，说不定又要被臭骂一顿了。
到家以后，我低着头，慢慢腾腾地走到妈妈身边，妈妈见我这样，问：“是不是这次数学没有考好？”我忐忑不安地把试卷递给妈妈，说：“这次考得太差。”妈妈接过试卷，仔细地前后看了两遍，用手示意我坐下，然后语重心常地对我说：“你这次考试之所以不好，问题就出在了粗心，出现了许多不该错的地方，不是数字看错了，就是简单的计算算错了。”然后又严肃地对我说：粗心这个毛病，我已经多次给你指了出来，你就是不改，它的危害实在是太大啦。试想，妈妈是一名会计，如果象你这样，把6抄成9，把小数点丢掉，那就会带来很烦，说不定把所有的工资赔进去都不够。从大的方面说，你曾说长大后要当一名科学家，试想如果科学家们都象你这样粗心，那神州六号飞船就飞不天，或者既使飞上天却下不来，那影响就不得了啦，对国家的影响那是不能用金钱能衡量的……总之一名话：细节决定成败。”听了妈妈的一席话，我仿佛从梦中惊醒，从今以后，我一定要彻底改掉粗心大意这个坏毛病，从细节做起，把握好学习中的每一个细节，让细节为我的学习成绩插上腾飞的翅膀。
如今，每当做作业或者考试的时候，我都会想起妈妈对我说的这名话：细节决定成败。
