小时的一大遗憾，就是没能放过风筝，所以那时对这诗中的画面万分的向往，无比的艳羡。及至长大了，才对风筝有了更多的接触和了解。
据有关资料介绍，风筝又名纸鸢、鹞子。我国是风筝的故乡，相传春秋战国时鲁班曾“削竹为鹊，成而飞之，三日不下”，这是史料记载里中国最早的“风筝”，至今已有２７００多年历史。至于风筝的得名，据《古今事物论》记载，五代时有人做纸鸢放飞，上装竹笛，有风吹入，竹笛便发出丝竹之声，故名风筝。
风筝品种繁多，分硬膀型、软膀型、水桶型和排子型四类，有动物、人物、事物等品种。我国著名的风筝产地有北京、天津、潍坊、南通。北京的`风筝注重写实，特点是工细、华丽，属传统的宫廷风筝；天津的风筝制作精巧，也有独特的风格；潍坊和南通风筝的特点是绘画艺术性强，既有鲜明的民间艺术色彩，又有浑厚凝重的国画笔墨。
风筝历来既受乡野村夫、幼齿顽童的喜爱，也被文人雅士所青睐，用以抒情感怀。唐代诗人高骈在《风筝》诗中写道：“夜静弦声响碧空，宫商信任往来风。依稀似曲才堪听，又被风吹别调中”。明代诗人徐渭简直是个风筝迷，他写了《风鸢图诗》２５首，如“江北江南低鹞齐，线长线短回高低；春风自古无凭据，一伍骑夫弄笛儿”。清代作家曹雪芹则是制作风筝的妙手高人，他曾撰写过关于风筝的专著《南鹞北鸢考工志》，其中汇集了古代风筝的扎、糊、绘、放四大艺术。
放风筝能健身。风筝飘舞，牵一线而动全身，放线收线，前倾后仰，时跑时行，时缓时急。张弛间，有股活力在心中涌动。《燕京岁时记》称：“放风筝，最能清目”；《续博物志》也称：“放风筝时引丝而上，令小儿张口仰视，可泄内热。”现代医学也证明，放风筝可以改善局部循环，活通络，起到预防、治疗脊椎病的作用；同时放风筝对缓解眼睛疲劳、防止近视眼，改善肩背部劳损症状也有好处。
春光大好，于田野间牵线奔跑，让风筝随风逐云，让所有的烦恼和不快荡却天际，只留欢乐。放飞风筝，就是放牧心情，那感觉真的很好。
