一、复习
1．复习比较两个数的大小。
师：我们已经学了怎样比较亿以内数的大小，谁来说一说比较大小的方法。（指名1、2个学生回答）
师让学生自己完整的.总结：首先要看数位是否相同，相同的数位就要从最高位比起，如果不能比较出来，就一位一位往下比，直到比出大小为止。如果数位不相同，就看哪一个数的数位多那个数就大。
2．复习把整万的数改写成用“万”作单位的数。
1100000＝110万 1210000＝121万 720000＝72万
师：要写成以“万”作单位的数就要把万后面的零去掉，要加上一个“万”字。
3．做一做练习 学生独立完成，全班核对。
二、复习求近似数的方法
1．让学生表演地球与太阳（课本例6）。
2．师：“大约130万个”是一个什么数？
生：是一个大概数，近似数。
师：求一个近似数要用什么方法？
生：四舍五入。
3．12756≈10000＝1万 1389000≈1390000＝139万
≈13000＝13千 ＝1389千
① 师：我们要省略万后面的尾数应该怎么做？
生：首先找出万位，再看千位上的数是否满5，不满5就四舍，满5就五入，然后在把万后面的数改写成零或加一个万字。
② 请同学思考：如果是省略千、百后面的尾数又该怎么办呢？
做练习15页的“做一做”，然后在小组内交流。请小组派代表来汇报。
生总结：省略哪一个数位上的数要先找出那个数位，然后看到右边下一位是否满5决定四舍五入，但必须在后面加上省略那一数位上的计数单位。
三、巩固练习
1．第4题 由师生对答哪些是近似数，哪些是准确数。
2．第5题 由学生自己独立完成，然后开火车的形式校正，并要求说明过程。
3．第7题 由老师提示，讲解题意，然后让学生独立完成，同桌互对。投影校对，并让学生提出质疑。
4．第8题 学生独立完成，拿学生的课本投影校对，并请学生说明理由。

Many boys treat him as a boss, andare willing to listen to him.
