今天下午我在优热网看了一部美国大片——《为奴十二载》，看完后，感觉非常震撼。
这样一部直面美国历史上最黑暗一页的优秀电影，却出自一位青年英国导演，史蒂夫·麦昆的手笔。根据真实事件和真人传记改编，《为奴十二载》讲述了1841年，住在纽约州萨拉托加的自由身份的黑人所罗门被欺诈绑架后卖到南方庄园，几易其主，最终重返自由的故事。
电影第一个镜头就是田地特写，然后直切一排毫无生气地等待主人训教的黑奴，然后就是重复的'劳动，类似的镜头，又在影片中反复数次出现，时代的背景，奴隶人性的压抑、自由的剥削以及商品属性，就通过几个镜头暴露出来；夜晚与身边女性黑奴的互慰，又切到与妻子的同床温情，似曾相识却迥然不同的情境，触发男主对家庭和自由过往的回忆。
配合充满质感的画面，影片还有效的运用了穿插的歌谣来渲染彼时黑奴的境况和心中的苦楚，棉田里的劳动应和，以及在累同伴葬礼上的吟唱，将疲惫认命的苍凉和无以附加的悲恸推向了高潮。而饰演监工的保罗·达诺在片中有段调侃逃跑黑奴的歌曲，在演唱时，穿插着黑奴们的各种劳作场景，即调节了节奏，又增加了多元的表现手法，还让观众感到两种对立的情绪正在以一种微妙的方式被催生着。
《为奴十二载》并非完美的电影，但它对一个如此熟悉的题材的把握方式不说是绝后，却几乎是空前的。它并没有提供一个新颖的视角，它只是凝视得特别用心，直到一切模糊之后却又重现，展开了一个新的格局。“我不想只是生存，我想要活着。”即使在遭遇不公的待遇时，主人公所罗门·诺瑟普依旧有着这样的。正是这点让我认为这次奥斯卡的最佳影片，它是绝对的实至名归。
