影片从宝儿一个离奇的梦开始。它梦见自己成为武功盖世的龙之武士，技艺高强、行侠仗义，受到全国人民的敬畏与爱戴，就连中国最出色的武士“勇猛五将”都向它鞠躬致敬。当宝儿从梦境回到现实，它再也不能自已，脑海里全是功夫，以致父亲让它继承面馆的使命也被抛之九霄云外。就在宝儿被“功夫”迷得神魂颠倒的时候，和平谷居民的安宁生活正面临一次前所未有的威胁，一只武艺超强却凶猛邪恶的雪豹太郎即将闯入，它想夺取神秘的龙之神旨成为龙之武士。为了铲除邪恶，选出真正的龙之武士，乌龟大师在和平谷召集各路英雄好汉，以比武形式选出能够继承龙之神旨的武士。结果令所有动物们匪夷所思，也许你猜到了，被乌龟选上的不是勇猛五将之一，而是只会卖面条的、看上去一无是处的肥熊猫。
