“袁隆平”这个名字大家一定不陌生吧？这位“杂交水稻之父”不仅获得过“国家最高科学技术奖”，还获得过联合国“科学奖”哩！今天，我要说的是我家的“袁隆平”。
我的外公七十多岁了，身体特别硬朗。退休前，他是县里分管农业的领导。听妈妈说，外公是华中农学院的高材生，不过看上去就像个庄稼汉！因为外公每天早出晚归，骑一辆破自行车，整天和泥巴、庄稼打交道。为了试验新品种，他常常从早到晚地泡在田间地头，观察种子的生长过程，记录种苗的生长时间和收获率。虽然戴个大草帽，皮肤还是被晒得黝黑，活像个非洲人。
终于退休了，外公总该享享清福了吧，可他还不肯闲下来。他最大的爱好就是看书，研究他的老本行。今年，退休已经十多年的外公又研究起“巴西旱稻”来。他说，这种旱稻的耐旱本领特别大，如果试验成功，能很好地解决庄稼缺水这个大问题。为了试验，一大把年纪的外公自己动手开了一块试验地；为了保证早稻的健康成长，他自己动手拔田里的野草，捉稻秧上的害虫，比照顾我还要细心；为了得到“巴西旱稻”详细的生长资料，他天天下田观察、记录，常常忘了按时回家吃饭。家里人常笑他，说他的干劲比年轻时还大。
年轻时的外公曾经有过怎样的辉煌，我无法见证，但是现在的外公在我心中和袁隆平一样了不起！

when i was in high school, there was a teacher who taught me more than that in was a very kind boy, 4 or 5 years older than us and taught us geography. we all liked to take his class, though geography was not our major course.
what impressed me a lot was his could see him always got angry only when we were too noisy in class,he often played soccer with used to be a very believable defender and never fouled on any of us.
we all liked to call him \"teacher miao\" and he was just like a friend, not a sonsy personality inspired me to be kind to everyone i was my well-beloved \"teacher miao\".

刚坐在饭桌上，吃香喷喷的米饭的时候，你也许会记得“谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”。但更让我深有感触的却是“我一生最大的愿望就是让人类摆脱饥荒，让天下人都吃饱饭”的袁隆平爷爷。但是，袁隆平爷爷却在2021年5月22日13：07，他却在长沙逝世，享年91岁。
袁隆平爷爷的逝世就像突如其来的巨石，打破了人们心中一道美好的时光。袁隆平爷爷的逝世让全国人都十分悲伤，大家都处于悲伤的阶段中，而在悲伤的同时，我们也应该学习袁隆平爷爷的精神，袁隆平爷爷逝世了，我们更应该努力的\"成为\"他，像他一样努力不放弃！
在今天下午，老师让我们观看了关于袁隆平爷爷的视频，从视频中我看到袁隆平爷爷在世时满脸的皱纹，看到了91岁的高龄人应有的仓促，但是却发现袁隆平爷爷的心却是永远年轻的。我了解了他的一生，袁隆平小的时候成绩优异，父母想让他走重点大学。但是他自己却觉得，学农是一门更好的专业，因此跨进了\"农门\"考上了重庆相辉学院农学系，当上了一名中级教师，他那个时候发现了一个野生水稻长得又挺立又健康，这时便开始了他的研究。
他带领自己的团队开展超级杂交稻攻关，分别于2000年，2004年，2011年，2014年实现了大面积示范，每公斤10.5吨。12吨，13.5吨，15吨的目标。实现了周年亩产稻谷3000斤的公关目标。“发展杂交水稻，造福世界人民”是袁隆平毕生的追求。他在一次讲座上还说过，“我的人生有两个梦，第一个是禾下乘凉梦，第二个是水稻遍布全球梦。”
袁隆平爷爷，我们以后会好好吃饭，不剩一粒米，我们会永远记住您。虽然您已经逝世，但是真正的亡是遗忘，我们不会忘了您，你永远在我们心里，你的精神会长存。
