the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

公元2004年12月26日，在印度洋发生了一次空前的海啸。这给印度洋周边的国家带来了空前的灾难，造成了17万人亡，千千万万的人流离失所，无家可归。
他们多么希望得到别人的帮助啊!
就在这时侯，国际社会伸出同情之手，捐款又捐物帮助印度洋周边国家的灾民。特别是我们国家，政府捐出了五个亿的人民币还派遣了多支救援队到灾区国家。中国国务院总理温家宝乘专机于1月5日晚抵达印度尼西亚首都雅加达，出席东盟地震和海啸灾后问题特别会议。这架中国国际航空公司波音747——400全客型飞机同时将中国政府向印尼提供的16吨紧急救援物资运抵雅加达。在北京众多艺人搞了一个大型的“爱无国界”大汇演。所有人员包括演员都要买票进场，演出的收入全部捐给灾区。当天晚上，有众多企事业单位和个人也打来电话认捐。一场从未有过的募捐活动在我国热烈开展起来。我们光明街道的人民也伸出了同情之手，哪怕是一些工资低微的工人都尽自己的一分爱心。我们小学老师，也捐了不少钱。许多同学还把自己的利是钱和零用钱捐献出来，还有许多同学把心爱的玩具或学习用具也捐给了灾区的小朋友。同学们都说：“我们和灾区人民心连着心，我们要和他们一起分担困难。有机会的话，我们还要去探望那里的小朋友”。
海啸无情人有情。我们这场捐资救灾活动充分体现了中华民族“一方有难，八方支援”的传统美德，中国人民博大的爱心正感动着世界。

寒流突然袭来，如同发狂的猛虎在城市里到处肆虐，就连往常笑呵呵的太阳公公也被冻得直打哆嗦，穿上了厚厚的大衣躲到云朵后面去了，往日里川流不息的人流也像躲瘟疫一样龟缩到一个温暖的角落，我装扮的如同木乃伊走在冻僵的马路上，匆匆向回家的方向奔去。
在立交桥下，有一位穿着破旧的老乞丐，跪在地上，缩着身子，瑟瑟发抖，像一根枯草任由寒风把玩。我放慢脚步，摇摆的心早已展开一场关于“施舍话题的辩论”，一边告诉我那是伪装的大灰狼，正在那里守株待兔，而我就是那只可餐的兔子，我的善良会变得一文不值，一边告诉我这是一个可怜的老人，在这个寒冷的冬季他需要帮助、需要关怀、需要温暖，你看他和卖火柴的小女孩多么相似?难道这个冬天他也要因为冷漠过早去往天堂?
大概感觉有人到来，老丐抬起头，像小鸟巢穴一样凌乱的头发，突然洒落散开，几缕白发带着冰屑随风凌乱飘舞，满脸曲曲折折的皱纹记载他的坎坷，抑郁双眼充满期盼。我顺间被老乞丐打败了，宁可错给也不愿在心中留有遗憾，我摸摸兜，把仅有5元钱攥在手里，向老丐走去，在地上寻找他的乞讨物件，把钱丢给彵准备赶快逃离这里。我突然发现在地上有一片模糊的字迹，老丐紧紧用身体防护着，地上写着：失物招领：好心人你的钱包。这时老丐用沙哑的声音对我说：你认识一个背着包的善良女孩吗?然后是一阵含糊不清的描述，我摇了摇头，老丐叹了口气，然后用布满冻疮的手不停的作揖。
我才知道这个乞讨者不是在乞讨而是在寻找一个施舍过他，却又把钱包丢失的好心人，我的内心象有一颗钉子钉在胸口，涩涩发痛。我不禁在想，那个钱包一定有很多钱，为什么一定要还给失者?我不禁在问：是什么力量让乞讨者放弃乞讨，苦苦在寒风中坚守寻找那位施舍过的女孩?
默默注视着寒风中作揖的乞讨者，我仿佛看到他那颗火热滚烫的心，在温暖着我，温暖着周边每一个人，寒冷的冬日又一次变得温暖，而这份温暖在不停的复制和传递，会遍及这个城市各个角落，这个冬季不再寒冷。
