People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. For me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.人们去旅游有的乘飞机、有的坐火车、坐船、乘公共汽车。对我来说在暑假，最好的方式是徒步旅行。
My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. “英语就考了106分，做了那么多练习什么用？！你看看人家小叶也不看见做什么课外练习都考了129分！”英语老师用严厉的口吻批评着我，语气有些愤怒、有些失望。
我眼眶差点溢出了委屈的泪水，我也很努力去学习英语。背单词、做练习我也很用心啊。为什么就考不出70分的范围？为什么要有英语这课程？为什么我们要学习？为什么外国不是和我们一样说汉语而是英语？

“侬有空写这些乱七八糟的东西，不会去多背几个单词，去做会阅读啊！……”一个熟悉又让我有些厌恶的声音像幽灵一样从我身后冒了出来。我几乎可以想象出接下来所谓的“台词”是什么。那些话已经停了不下N遍了，我都可以一字不漏地把那些台词复述出来。我想我的耳膜已经对这些“站着说话不嫌腰疼”的话产生抗体形成自动免疫功能。
我仍然陷在我的浮想中。我独来独往走在云彩之上，身边路过拿着英语书、词组纸的同学，目光茫然。我唤醒他们。
他们却对我说：“要上英语课了，你还不背单词啊！”我一愣。我想哭泣，想逃离，但是我此时此刻却不知道欲去何方……

今天，我和妈妈一起乘高铁去广州旅游。因为我期末考试考得还可以，所以妈妈终于兑现了带我旅游的.承诺。
我们在肯德基里吃过早餐后，就去里面检票。我坐在高铁柔软的椅子上，列车开动了，速度从160码一直提升到了307码，我从窗户里看到道路两旁的树飞一般倒退，终于知道了了高铁的速度有多快。车虽然开得快，但是车厢里却很安静，因为有隔音玻璃。
中午，我们到达了广州南站，然后直奔长隆欢乐世界。一进门，左右两旁的大白虎就对我们表示欢迎。我来到了十环过山车，大人们的尖叫让人望而生畏，但我还是坚强地坐上去了。机器开动了，我地抓着扶手，过山车带着我在圆圈上滚动，不时来个360度大转弯，还好时间不是很长，不然我非得吓晕不可。下来的时候，我都站不稳了。接着我转到了大力水手，排了好几分钟，才轮到我上去，机器带着我旋转，一上一下，一点也不刺激。下午，我继续玩海盗漂流，我换上雨衣，坐上小艇，顺着水流，时不时有水落到我头上，游客还用水枪喷我们，我们成为了落汤鸡，不过三分钟就到终点了，这时间也太快了。
接着，我们还玩了飞马过山车、转转杯、旋风岛。晚上，我们乘车来到了广州最高的塔之一——小蛮腰，它有600米高，我们是坐电梯上去的，到第84层的时候，有点“高原反应”，感觉耳朵象被什么东西堵住一样。我们上到了100层，从窗户外面看广州，广州灯火通明，不愧被称为不夜城。我们一直看到晚上十一点才回去，今天真是快乐的一天。

今天，随着人们过上更好的生活，人们追求的娱乐。我们可以从新闻上看到当节假日来临的时候，很多人聚集在景点。现在，人们喜欢旅游，他们可以坐飞机，坐巴士甚至骑单车。在我看来，最好的旅游方式是坐火车。第一，这很便宜。和其他方式，如飞机和巴士，坐火车便宜很多，人们可以省下很多钱。而且，做坐火车也更加安全。人们不用担心坠毁，这地发生在飞机和巴士上。第二，我们可以在火车上欣赏风景。虽然火车很慢，我们可以好好看看美丽的风景，当我们去西藏的时候，可以在旅途中看到不同的颜色和不同的大山。坐火车是最好的旅游方式。
