该文章由中国科学报25日发布，李锋亮在文内讨论的主要内容是“内卷”现象，以及他对“内卷”的看法。而其“躺平态度极不负责”的评论正出自文章最后一部分内容——“笔者对那些不喜欢‘内卷’的大学生的建议”。
根据文章，李锋亮称自己就是“小镇做题家”，但幸运的是即使到了一线城市的知名大学，依然能够凭借自己的努力获得耀眼的绩点，甚至早早进入实验室参与科研任务。
