每个人一生都会面临这样的价值观抉择：到底以个人价值为核心还是以家庭价值为核心。套在电影中，如果姐姐以家庭价值为核心，那么抚养弟弟就责无旁贷。但姐姐却是典型的现代年轻人，她的价值观和世界观也随着飞速发展的社会一起成长着，她有明确的梦想，她迫切希望实现个人价值，不愿以牺牲个人价值为前提去成就家庭责任。
作为观众，我也随着情节很纠结。同样是二十多岁的女孩子，我能与姐姐共情，我能理解在寡不敌众的众多亲戚的围攻中她的不易，不希望她就此妥协，支持她说不。但看到那么小的弟弟，一次一次的说“姐姐我只有你了”的时候，又何其不忍的希望姐姐回应他“姐姐不会离开你，我们永远在一起”。幸好，电影是开放式结局，留给观众的不是任何一种“残忍”，而是任何可能都有可能存在的希望。
毋庸置疑，影片还想讨论一种带有中国传统特色的“重男轻女”文化。片中的父母为了要个男孩让姐姐假装残疾获取二胎指标，偷偷改填女儿的志愿想让女儿早日赚钱养家。无独有偶，姑妈也曾为了成全她的弟弟，也就是片中姐弟俩的爸爸牺牲了自己的学业、事业，而且觉得这一切是理所应当的，因为自己生来就是姐姐。但幸运的是，“套娃不是非要装在一个套子里”，姐姐不是姑妈。姐姐的变化，姐姐对个人价值的追求正是我们现代社会变化的缩影，是当今社会价值观、世界观现代化进程的缩影。每个人都能真切的感受到，一个平等的社会秩序正在形成。
如果你去看这部电影，可能你也会为它流上许多泪。但我更愿相信那不是悲情，是正能量。你我都能感觉到，我们的这个世界正在越变越好。

她的成绩不错，但是比起我来嘛，嘿嘿，还是差了一点点，我希望我可以帮助她把成绩提升上来， 尤其是英语，现在我和她的英语成绩都很差，我现在是堪堪及格，她是不及格。我常常教她读英语课文，因为她有很多单词不会读，所以我们俩个一起读英语课文，每次读的时候我都刻意的放慢了速度，怕她觉的自己不会读而自卑。
