When your letter arrived, I was just in Hong Kong. As my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when I took it up. Now the first thing I have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.

在首钢工作30多年的园区服务公司职工田力在观看纪录片时心情很激动：“首钢近百年发展历史中，我见证了三分之一。通过大搬迁，首钢实现了新发展，在曹妃甸、迁安等地建立了新的钢铁基地，一个崭新的、现代化的首钢在续写新的发展史。现在，园区服务公司大部分职工也通过艰难转型，走上了新岗位，续写着新的\'传奇。”
园区管理部职工纪宝龙说：“首钢近百年来，历经无数磨难。在搬迁调整过程中，有许多首钢人在默默奉献着，他们为了企业的未来，远离家乡和亲人，在异常艰苦的环境中，夜以继日地拼搏奉献。割舍，意味着挑战，也意味着更多的放弃，更体现出勇敢的首钢人顾全大局、敢于担当、不畏艰险的光荣传统，彰显出首钢人崇高的思想境界和博大的胸怀。”
