for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

中午，我回家时，却看见牵牛花的花冠卷起来了，我很纳闷。
为什么早上那么鲜艳的牵牛花一到中午就焉了呢？
带着这个疑问，我去翻书，终于找到了答案。
原来，牵牛花的花冠大而薄，水分蒸发很快。清晨空气比较湿润，气温不高，阳光的照射又比较柔和，牵牛花体内的水分充足，这样的外界环境对它最为适宜。这时，牵牛花花瓣的内侧细胞生长得快，于是花瓣向外弯曲，这样，鲜艳的牵牛花就开了。
中午，随着温度的升高，阳光照射，空气变得干燥，花冠里的水分被蒸发，根部又来不及吸收足够的水分来供给花冠，花冠便卷了起来。
牵牛花开花需要阳光，但也害怕过强的阳光，而清晨的条件正好适合它的要求，所以它的开花时间是在早上。
弄清楚了这个问题，我的心情特别舒畅。
普普通通的牵牛花也有如此大的学问，大自然真是神奇啊！
