这次的`监考老师是山羊伯伯，评卷的老师是长颈鹿、大象、小白兔，参加的是小狐狸、松鼠、小狮子。
试卷发下来了，大家安静地坐在各自的位置上，认真地答题。这时，只见小狐狸东张西望，一会儿看看小松鼠，一会儿看看小狮子。噢！原来它是被一道“要是你在野外迷了路，你该怎么辨别方向？”的题难住了。小狐狸苦思冥想，急得抓耳挠腮，但它始终想不出来答案。
转眼，交试卷的时间到了，小狐狸不得不把试卷交到山羊伯伯的手里。
第二天，考试成绩出来了。山羊伯伯宣布考试成绩:小松鼠和小狮子全对，得100分，分别奖励给它们每位一支铅笔和一个文具盒。而小狐狸因为那一道题没答出来，只得了92分，所以没有得到老师的奖励。小狐狸很沮丧，山羊伯伯看到了，语重心长地对小狐狸说：“那道题的答案是指南针，以后学习的时候一定要认认真真啊！”小狐狸若有所思的点了点头。它默默地对山羊伯伯说：“看来要想取得好成绩，就一定要踏踏实实地学习。从今天开始，我一定努力学习，争取下次取得好成绩！”山羊伯伯听了小狐狸的话，开心地笑了。
