我按照书上的要求，拿出火柴、万能胶，又端来一盆清水，便开始做实验了。掐下火柴的头，在火柴梗的一头蘸上一滴万能胶，然后立即放进水盆里。看!奇迹出现了，火柴梗在水中时走时停，真像一条活泼好动的`小鱼儿!
正当我陶醉在乐趣中时，一个问号涌上心头：火柴梗为什么和走走停停呢?为了弄个明白，我找出《十万个为什么》翻了起来。
哦!找到了，原来万能胶内含有一种化学溶剂，它会不断地气化蒸发，这种看不见的气体从胶中挥发出来，推动火柴梗前进，然后胶的表面又逐渐凝固，这时火柴梗便不动了，可是当新的气化产生以后，又要突破表层挥发出来，所以火柴梗又回前进了。
多么有趣的科学小实验哪!
