瑞典是北欧最大的国家，她的自然环境和社会人文环境是世界一流的，常被评为全球最宜居的国家之一。瑞典以干净整洁著称，首都斯德哥尔摩是“北方威尼斯”，城中河流相当清澈，如此干净整洁的环境与瑞典先进的垃圾分类处理密不可分。在国内的时候是什么垃圾都塞进一个塑料袋里完事；而在瑞典，对垃圾分类的意识从儿童时期便开始培养，垃圾分类也特别细，有的还要送到指定的地点。刚来的时候我还真很不习惯，但过了一段时间后觉得垃圾分类确实很有必要。
在瑞典，很多人都能讲流利的英语，因此生活没有什么不方便，总体感觉，在这个干净美丽的国度里生活很休闲很惬意。

来瑞典之前，听朋友说瑞典人傲里傲气，不容易接近，来到这里以后才明白这是瑞典人文化传统的反映，即沉默是金。
我每天上下班都需要坐小火车，却几乎没有碰到瑞典同事主动与我交谈。他们最多不过是点点头，问候一下罢了，然后就专心致志地看报纸了。我想他们之所以能保持沉默是金，就是文化传统的反映了。在去年冬天一个大雪纷飞的日子，小火车刚进入Flemmingsberg车站，喇叭便响起来了。我听不懂瑞典语，也就没在意。可过了一会儿，小火车仍然停在那里原地不动，我感到非常疑惑。邻座的瑞典人看到我一脸的迷茫，便用英语对我解释说前方铁路出故障了。我看到每位乘客都显得很镇定，没有人急躁。有些赶时间的乘客很有秩序地下车换乘公交车了，而留在车箱内的人都是那样的平静，好像什么也没有发生，仍然专心读着报纸书籍等待火车再次启动。所有这一切都显得如此井然有序，我想这就源于他们的沉默是金。
在斯德哥尔摩，很多街道两旁都种植着大量的柿子树和苹果树等等，到了金色的秋天，每一棵果树上果实累累，非常诱人。但是，我看到无论是成人还是儿童，没有人爬到树上摘果子。只有市政管理人员，在果实熟透的时候去采摘。这件事不禁也引发我深深地思考……
回首这段留学的岁月，收获颇丰，我不仅领略了瑞典迷人的风光、感受了瑞典人特有的性格，我想更重要的是在科研和学术上的受益匪浅。同时，我想我能够顺利完成研修工作，与他人的支持和帮助是分不开的，有了家人尤其是母亲的关怀使我不再因离别而伤感、有了导师和同事的理解使我不再孤单、有了教育处老师的支持使我不再迷茫。我想难忘的瑞典留学岁月会给我的人生增添浓墨重彩的一笔。

阿文说，他每次回国前，手机就响个不停，亲戚朋友总央求他带这带那，这些东西或是价格较国内便宜，或是国内没得卖，或只因是“外国货”。
小鱼：在国外，你帮朋友带得最多的东西是什么？
阿文：各种都有。帮热衷甜食的朋友带过巧克力；朋友里好多热爱运动的，会让我带一些很有名的球队的球鞋、球衣，有时甚至会带袜子；还带过电脑，因为一些国外牌子的`电脑在国内卖得比较贵，在国外买则会便宜一些。
小鱼：如果不是受人所托，你自己倾向给家人朋友带什么礼物？
阿文：其实，现在大部分产品国内都可以买得到，这对我选择礼物也是个很大的困扰，回国之前一般都要出去逛好几次，看到我觉得新鲜的东西就赶紧买下。我跟你讲一个我买过的最有意思的东西，因为我有一个女性朋友非常喜欢野营，但是每次在郊外上厕所就会感觉特别不方便，我就给她买了个野外上厕所的收集袋，里面有石灰粉，用完可以当垃圾带走，既不会有味道，也不会污染环境。
小鱼：我听过，好多演员在野外拍戏时也会用到。
阿文：对。其实这一类稀奇古怪的东西，日本是最多的，我的同学还买过新鲜空气吸收器，把器材一端套在植物上，一端套在嘴上，像呼吸器一样。其实买这些东西主要是为了好玩。
小鱼：有没有带什么东西会被拦下来的？
阿文：我倒没有这样的经历，不过我还真在机场碰过一次，有个亚洲旅客回国带了一些肉制品，被检查出来，因为这种生鲜类的规定都比较严格。

In capacity as Professor of Mathematics at Fudan University?I'm writing to recommend Mr. Wang?Gesintosyour PhD program in Computer Science. to my surprise, i found he was among the few students in his class who could keep up with the pace of my lectures. moreover, he often posed thought-provoking questions during the course. thus it was natural that i liked discussing with this young man and became familiar with him. the more i knew him, the more i found he was talented at mathematics. as you can see, he got excellent scores on the course.
in fact, he ranked no. 1 on this 270 hours course in the talented student class which has 34 intelligent others. with his outstanding talent and solid mathematical background, he also did quite well in most other courses during his undergraduate study.
as to his personality, i would like to say mr. caleb is a warm-hearted, honest and upright
