They often cite in illustration of it the attractive, but false and deceptive advertisements to which many consumers fall victim. Why don't we stop advertising and use the money to reduce the price of goods? It sounds like a good idea, but they fail to notice the contribution advertising makes to our society. Because the production of a better product to compete for customers' money is the goal of advertisers, customers are thus given a chance to compare their products and get the best and cheapest one. Besides, as the advertisement can provide people with a lot of immediate and detailed information as to the availability of a certain product, or a service or a job, it makes life much more convenient. And another thing we mustn't forget: the fact that we pay so little for our daily newspapers and TV programs is due entirely to the money spent by advertisers.

每次看电视时，我总会看到《给妈妈洗脚》的公益广告，这个广告让我受益匪浅。广告里讲的是一位母亲帮自己的婆婆洗脚，结果被站在一旁的儿子看见了，于是儿子也端了一盆水要给她洗脚。这是多么感人的画面。
看完这个公益广告，我们脑海里立刻出现了“孝顺”、“榜样”这两个词。
先说“孝顺”吧！这位妈妈本身就是一个有孝心的人，而他的儿子看到她的举动，或是被她感动了，或是只单纯的看到妈妈这么做好玩他也这么做，这个先不说。但是不管怎么样，这位母亲能做到帮自己的婆婆或是妈妈洗脚已经是很少人能做到的事了。
在这个年代，这个社会，我们大家扪心自问一下，你为父母洗过脚吗？洗过几次？有很多的年轻人只会向爸妈伸手要钱，连简单的一声问候都不愿意给。还有一些年轻的夫妻，生完孩子后就把孩子丢给父母，自己出去玩。这种现象出现的最多的是一些和父母住在一起的上班族，一下班回到家要么就是直接躺在沙发上呼呼大睡，要么直接回房间，不到父母催他出来吃饭是不会出来的。
这难道就是大家所谓的孝顺吗？父母辛辛苦苦的把你养大就是为了给你当保姆吗？当我每次看到和听到这些情形的时候，我的心里都很难受。
其实父母并不要求你能给他们多少东西。他们只需要你们每天的一个微笑，一句夸奖，节假日时的一个陪伴，这对他们说就足够了。可现在的年轻人，又有多少人能真正懂得，即使懂得了也未必能够做得到。
当然，我说的只是某部份人而已，不是说世界上没有孝子。
从这个公益广告，我还看出了父母对孩子来说很重要。广告里母亲为自己的母亲洗脚，不仅是孝顺，同时也是在为她的孩子树立榜样，让孩子也懂得孝顺父母。所以说父母想要孩子孝顺自己，首先自己要做出榜样。
古人云：“言传不如身教。”你的一举一动，孩子都会去模仿去学习，你是什么样的，你的孩子也会是什么样的。
以前我有个同学天天满口粗话，大家都不怎么喜欢他。结果有一次他爸来接他，当时他爸在打电话，没说两句就开始脏话连篇。有这样的父亲做榜样，孩子当然也不会好到哪里去。
所以你给孩子做了什么样的榜样，孩子肯定就会是个什么样的人。
这就是我看到这个广告后想到的两点。
