1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

春节是中华民族的传统节日，我最喜欢过春节。
这个节日在我国非常的盛大和隆重，俗称“过年”。每逢春节，我们家人都要聚在爷爷奶奶家吃团圆饭，在这举国欢庆的节日里，我们家有着与众不同的乐趣!
镜头一：忙年夜饭
年三十的一大早，大家伙便“八仙过海各显神通”地忙开了，家里到处是忙碌的身影。客厅里，妈妈和小姨在择菜，她们俩面前的时蔬堆成了一个鼓鼓的小山包，有碧玉般的芹菜，紫宝石色的茄子，红水晶似的番茄……五颜六色，煞是诱人。水池旁，爸爸在鱼，一不留神，爸爸手中的鱼滑到了地上，这条鲤鱼居然还在地板上活蹦乱跳，鱼鳞溅了爸爸一身。姨父在小公鸡，这是为晚上的红烧鸡而准备的。灶台前，爷爷煮的辣汤“咕嘟咕嘟”地冒着热气，香味已经飘满了整个厨房。我和表妹也没闲着，和奶奶在一旁做烤饼。每个烤饼只有手掌那么大，酥酥的，香香的。出锅喽!我迫不及待的尝了一口，芝士的浓香和胡椒的香辣巧妙地融合在一起，味道好极了。
镜头二：抢压岁钱“大战”
晚上吃过年夜饭，爷爷奶奶开始发压岁钱啦。我们家发压岁钱的方式与众不同，除了向二老说些吉利话拜年，讨得大红包之外，还有一个环节叫做“喜从天降”。奶奶像仙女散花一样向空中扔一摞十元的人民币，大家在空中、沙发上、地下抢压岁钱。那场面，人人不甘落后、奋勇向前，“剑拔弩张”、热闹非凡。作文
我觉得我们一家三口的抢钱方式堪称一绝——海、陆、空三军联合作战。爸爸个子高又是空军，自然负责“空战”，抓取飞在空中的钱;我则发挥个子矮，距离地面近的优势，负责“陆战”，专捡飘落到地板上的钱;妈妈嘛也有特长，她的眼睛被学生练出来了(她乃中学教师也，关注四面八方，看准一张是一张。由于我们家分配合理，联合作战，抢到的压岁钱数全场之最。这时，爸爸得意忘形地把手里的一张十元钱向空中抛去，没想到那张钱霎时遭到四面八方的“敌军”猛烈围攻，爸爸为了保护钱，脸都涨红了。说时迟那时快，我一脚踏住那张钱。哼，要不是我这个陆军来支援，那张十元钱就易主了!
“哈哈哈……”我们家洋溢着欢声笑语，与窗外的鞭炮声汇织成一首动听的新年交响曲。
在这迎接春天的.节日里，有欢笑;在这属于春天的节日里，有温馨;在这象征春天的节日里，有希望。
