在灿烂多彩、丰富饱满的生活面前，我的生活无疑是毫无亮点的，毫不夸张地说，我已是当代的“盲”——不会使用智能手机，不会使用电脑打字（发个邮件也吃力），不会玩弄摩托、汽车；不会跳舞不会唱歌不会麻将扑克，戒了烟戒了酒，不去KTV，不去酒吧咖啡厅，生活中有诸多的“不会”、“不能”。也许，在年轻人看来，我这样的老朽式的生活应该被吐槽了。有时候，我在公共场所看见年轻人低下头手在手机上拨弄，我不知道他们在手机上看什么寻找什么。我想，手机里肯定有他们感兴趣的东西，有他们的兴奋点——他们那样的生活着，而我只能这样的生活，我把自己的生活削减得如同一根青青的竹，看似单纯，却茂盛。
我虽然生活在当下，可是，我的生活状态可以和上个世纪二三十年代的鲁迅、沈从文他们的生活状态接轨——那时候，鲁迅几乎是宅在家里的，沈从文走遍了湘西之后，其生活状态也是“安静”的。这些大师们对时代对人生的把握是精准的。原因是，一个好的作家完全靠自己.对这个人生这个世界独特的感觉而做出理性的.判断的，如果作家靠大量的信息来滋养自己，自己的感觉是迟钝的麻木的，即使沉入在信息的海洋里也很难写出对时代对人生有准确把握的作品。有一次，我和陈ZHONG实老师谈论当下的小说，陈先生说，当下的有些中短篇小说还没有记者的特别报道写得好。老先生的话令人深思——有些作者虽然获取了大量的信息，可是，他们把这些信息并没有升华为小说——从素材到素材。在信息爆炸的时代，对于一个好的作家来说，并不是获取的信息越多越好，而是作家对生活的透析能力越强越好。
生活没有模式可言，没有样板可言。我觉得，适合于自己的生活就是好生活，我并不是要倡导人们都简单的生活着。适合于自己的生活应当是不伤害他人、有道德、有规范的生活。不论你的生活状态简单或繁复，如果创造着美好的人生，那就是意义所在了。

何况，现在的房地产商，整天砍伐树木，光小树苗就得好几十棵。就因为这件事，我们就能遭受灾难，如果花草树木不能抵挡洪水，但也可以制造氧气。如果我们人类好好保护花草树木，就能及时补救，就不会让下一代接受这样恶劣的环境，让下一代的花朵更加美好的绽放。
只要我们保护那一棵棵正在拙壮成长的小树苗。那一株株茂盛的花草，那世界就不会有难民走投无路，也就没有汹涌的洪水威胁着我们。人们，为了祖国每一朵花茂盛的绽放那就要多多呵护每一棵树，每一株花草。
