Elephant is the largest animal on land today. It weights some ninety kilograms and is about one metre high when born.
When it is 12 years old, it studs over three meters and does not grow any more. Elephant is usually grey in color, having a long trunk with large ivory tusks protruding from each side of its mouth. Usually moving in groups and caring for each other, Elephant is know to be a very and gentle creamre. For many years people have used the strength of these poweful animals to move trees and heavy logs. 春天到了，桃花红了，露出了一张张笑脸；柳树也绿了，发出了新的嫩芽，一阵风轻轻吹过，柳枝随风飘舞。小燕子们也跟着叫喳喳。到处都是一派生面勃勃的景象。
这些小燕子住在小丽家的屋檐下。它们有着嫩黄色的小尖嘴和剪刀似的尾巴。一天，小丽正准备出门。她习惯地抬头一看，不幸的事发生了。一阵大风吹来，在巢旁的一只小燕子一失足，头朝下掉了下来。哦，可怜的小燕子“叽叽叽”地痛苦地叫着，趴在了地上。
小丽见了，连忙跑过去。她一看，小燕子倒在地上，一动不动，黑乎乎的身上露出了点点红色，让人十分担心。小丽刚想把它扶起来，可在这时，一只肥胖的花猫不知从何处窜了出来，它一身灰毛，一条大尾巴在身后不停摇摆着，眼睛滚圆滚圆，却散发出了凶光，它正慢慢接近小燕子，打起小燕子的主意来：嘿！这燕子这么软弱，让我来玩玩它！随即它加快脚步，盯着小燕子，伸出前爪碰了下它。小燕子惊恐地叫了一声，往后移了移，闭上眼睛。此时，在巢里的其它小燕子们发出了撕心裂肺的叫声。“不要动它！”小丽急了，忙拿起身旁的一根树枝，朝花猫打过去。“喵~~”，花猫痛得在地上打滚儿。“我叫你玩！不专心抓老鼠，来这儿伤害可爱的小燕子，没门儿！”小丽指着花猫说道。花猫见敌人这么强悍，吓得毛竖了起来，一溜烟夹着大尾巴逃走了。
“哎！小燕子。”小丽走过去，轻轻捧起了小燕子。幸亏，小燕子只是擦破了点皮。小丽给小燕子擦了擦这个伤口，又搬来了一把椅子，把小燕子送回了家。
这时候，燕妈妈回来了，小燕子靠在妈妈身旁，放心地睡了……

The time passed so fast, we left the zoo at 1'oclock PM. I was so happy today. Now I feel very tired and I will go to bed early tonight.

春天到了，万物复苏，鸟语花香。春风吹绿了小草，吹青了柳树。小燕子从南方赶来，为春天增加了一道风景线。
星期六下午，小华刚写完作业，跑出去玩，刚走到家门口，听到屋檐上“叽叽”的叫声。小华抬头一瞧，啊！原来燕妈妈孵出了四只小燕子，这四个小脑袋凑在一起在窃窃私语。突然，其中一只小燕子笑得得意忘形，不小心从窝里掉了下来，小华的心揪紧了。
这时，小华的大花猫也来了，它非常饿，一看到小燕子，馋的直流口水，扑向小燕子。小燕子被除数眼前的事物吓矇，它左躲右闪，可哪里是大花猫的对手，在这千钧一发的时刻，燕妈妈回来了，它看到自己的孩子快落入猫口，二话不说，丢下自己辛辛苦苦抓的小虫子，像疾风似的冲向大花猫。大花猫转身一看，燕妈妈正冲向自己。心想“不自量力的家伙，不怕，来吧！”把嘴巴朝向燕妈妈，想让它自己冲向嘴巴。可燕妈妈没这么笨，它调整方向一冲，不偏不倚戳到大花猫的眼睛，“啊！”大花猫凄惨地叫了一声。还没等大花猫缓过神来，小华怒气冲冲地拿起柳枝条对准大花猫狂抽起来，大花猫吓的魂飞魄散，落荒而逃。
这时，燕妈妈背起小燕子，吃力地飞回鸟窝，并对小华拍拍翅膀，表示感谢，小华欢快地笑了。
