现在，我对它做一个自我介绍。它在古代称之为公孙树，别名白果树，现代我们叫它银杏树，是十分珍贵的树种。是银杏类唯一存活的树种，因为它被称为活化石。银杏树寿命很长。它有特别的性格，强劲的体魄，深受世人的钟爱和青睐。
阳春三月，百花争艳，银杏树也不甘示弱。细小的嫩芽从枝头上探出头来，闪着黄绿的眼睛，给银杏树披上一层绿纱，微风拂过，眨呀眨呀，发出“沙沙”的响声，犹如一片优美的交响曲在校园里回荡。
还没聆听完这美妙的音乐，不知不觉炎热的夏天来临了，嫩叶变成了小绿扇，银杏树撑开了一把巨大的绿绒大伞，茂密的扇叶遮天蔽日。树底下阴凉爽快，我和同学常常在树下看书、下象棋、做游戏……一大早我们步入学堂，就听见树上叽叽喳喳的鸟叫声，时而婉转，时而激情。
扇走了炎热的酷暑，迎来了凉爽的秋天。小绿扇渐渐变黄了，一阵风吹过，一树金叶。秋风吹得猛了，片片黄扇从树枝上纷纷扬扬飘落下来，像一只只蝴蝶在翩翩起舞，给大地铺上了一层“金毯”。
