第二天，万能刀接到了一个新任务——植树。万能刀拿出一把大铲子，一点一点地挖出一个大洞，然后把小树苗放在洞里，再把土填进去，然后亚平、浇水……
刚植完树，万能刀还没来得及休息，又接到了一个新任务，就是装架子。原来是小象家的架子坏子，得拿出一把钻，在墙上钻了几个洞，把架子放在适当位置，再拧螺丝就完成了。
自从万能刀来了这个小村庄，帮了村民不少忙，小家都很喜欢它。
