我原来以为生煤炉很容易，实际上煤炉很不好生着。妈妈先对我说了生煤炉的要点：“生煤炉时，先要在炉子里放上木屑、废纸等容易燃的引火物，然后把引火物点燃，再轻轻夹起煤块，放入炉中，就行了。”说完，妈妈买菜去了，留下我一个人来学。
我照着妈妈说的，先把木屑和废纸放入炉子里，用火柴去点，但由于我胳膊短，不是烧疼了手，就是火柴灭了。我正愁眉不展时，忽然看见了酒，我不由眼睛一亮，一拍大腿，一个好注意涌上了心头。我用火钳把里面的废纸夹出来，向上浇了一些烧酒，再放入炉里，然后把两根火柴点燃后一起扔进去。“呼”的一声，燃了！我高兴极了，急忙添纸、加煤，忙得不亦乐乎！待炉烧红后，我又把一块煤放进去，等它烧着。我站在一边想：“原来这到容易！”不由得意起来。谁知，“骄兵必败”，正当我得意之时，只见炉里冒出一股烟，煤一下子碎了。呀！这是怎么回事？我只好哭丧着脸把碎煤夹出来，又用钳子夹了一块干的煤，踮着脚，双手捏紧火钳柄，小心翼翼地把煤放进去，这才放下了心头大石。
过了一会儿，下面的煤红了，我又把另一块放了进去。一会儿，两块煤都着了。我高兴地喊：“成功了！”
这时，妈妈回来了，我正要告诉她成功的消息，她却看着我笑了。我莫名其妙地走到镜子前一看，啊！我成了大花脸了。我不由得也笑了起来。

天快黑了，全家除了我一个都没回来，我就想：“如果我把晚饭做好了，爷爷和奶奶一定很高兴，先要主放进锅里把它洗干净，然后把水方放到锅里后把手擦干了插上电源，过了一会爷爷奶奶回来了，他们看见衣服被收起来了、晚饭做好了，他们疑惑不解，今天是谁把衣服收起来了，饭也做好了。就问我今天谁做了，做了家务我得意洋洋的话是我。爷爷奶奶很高兴。过了一会爸爸和妈妈回来了。
吃完饭，我就说我来洗碗，爸爸说今天太阳从西边出来的。我说：“我帮爷爷做一点家务不行吗？”爸爸说：“行行”。以后我一定要多多帮家人做家务。
