i would like to tell you something that took place in my school yesterday. in the afternoon the school held a growing-up ceremony for our coming 18-year-old birthday. at the beginning we made an oath that as grown-ups we should have a sense of responsibility for our society. next we expressed our thands to our parents who brought us up and to our teachers for their education. then our teachers gave us cards with good wishes. finally, we had wonderful performances. i learned a lot from the activity. i am sure the ceremony is very important for us. from then on we will know our responsibilities as grown-ups.

我呀，最近心情有些焦虑，于是就去看了一些和基督教有关的文章，如《马太福音》里的前面部分。我很喜欢这一段：
当时，耶稣被圣灵引到旷野，受魔鬼的试探。他禁食四十昼夜，后来就饿了。那试探人的进前来，对他说：“你若是神的儿子，可以吩咐这些石头变成食物！”耶稣却回答说：“经上记着说：‘人活着不是单靠食物，乃是靠神口里所出的一切话。’”魔鬼就带他进了圣城，叫他站在殿顶上，对他说：“你若是神的儿子，可以跳下去！因为经上记着说：‘主要为你吩咐他的使者用手托着你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。’”耶稣对他说：“经上又记着说：‘不可试探主你的神。’”
我觉得，看这些故事，我会有心静的感觉。虽然故事离我很远，但我喜欢，和自己隔得很远的故事——就好像里边的悲欢离合都与自己无关一样的，我成为一位旁观者，可以客观理性地评价故事里的人。隔得远一点，看得就清一点。这是我常常相信着的。 陈虻的\'《不要因为走得太远而忘记为什么出发》，这是我两个月来，完全看完的唯一一本书（其他书看到最后就半途而废了。）。它是李发芽姐姐借给我的里边也说：“当我们太喜爱一个事物时，我们实际上已经不是在爱着这个事物本身了，而只是你在头脑里为它臆造的幻象。这时候，我们需要远离，唯有远离，方能客观真实，方能看清。也唯有看清以后，才能再一次真正爱上。远离，其实是为了再一次靠近。” 我很喜欢陈虻也很喜欢《马太福音》。它们，都能让我心静、心宽。嗯我最近挺焦虑的但不会感到压抑只是紧张，但不悲伤 祝你也开开心心的哦

In your letter,you told me that you preferred your job to the city of Shanghai.In my opinion,Shanghai is an exciting and a beautiful place.Try to enjoy yourself in your spare time besides your devotion to work.
I\'m sorry to say that I won\'t go to Shanghai because our school will hold an open-air party.I have to stay for the performances on the holiday.By the way,would you please come and join us in the party Hangzhou is so beautiful in autumn that I\'m sure you will like it.
