我第一次见到他是在篮球场，他像所有男孩子一样喜欢打篮球，从他炙热的眼神里就可以看出来，然而不同的是，他生疏的球技显得格格不入，这可能是他第一次玩篮球，我低低的笑出了声，也许是在嘲笑他的自不量力，也许是在感慨他的坚持，到底为什么笑，时间太长，我已经记不起来了。唯一记得的，就是看到了少年略显生硬却努力跟上的脚步和脸上坚定不移不愿放弃的表情，我收住了笑，打量着这个如骄阳一般的少年。
从那之后，我渐渐开始留意他。他乐于助人，面对同学的求助都一一帮忙;他乐观向上，在失败面前没有气馁还扬起头来朝我们笑笑说没事;他专心认真，在炎热的'夏天还不骄不躁的埋头于课本之中。那个如火一样的少年正在渐渐长大，慢慢成熟。而这一切，我都在静静的看着......
我扪心自问，我比不上他，小时候吃吃喝喝不会谈什么理想，吧啦吧啦的说着那些从电视上学来的话，长大以后没有自己的理想，无非是父母已经为你的人生规划好了，你去执行罢了。我从来没有为了自己好好努力一次，甚至连一个自己想要的目标都没有。在世界这个大染缸里，我已经渐渐麻木，偶尔一两次活动才勉强带动起我心中的积极。我早已经忘了曾经热情如火想赢的心情。也许是那天风起的恰巧，也许是当时场景刚好，总之我被那个努力的身影触动到了。我想赢，想为自己活一次，想彻彻底底竭尽全力努力一次。哪怕再苦再疼我也愿意，起码我不会后悔，不会遗憾。
那个如纸一样干净，如火一样明媚的少年，我是感激他的。感谢他那天刚好在篮球场，感谢他以那样一个努力的身影出现在我面前，感谢我们的相遇，使我找到自己，洗尽铅华，再成就更好的自己。
