That day, my mother and I were going to Beijing Zoo, so we were waiting for the bus by the side of the road very early. A dustman's grandfather was looking for something on the road. His face was wrinkled and his hands were rough like dried bark. He was wearing an old coat with an orange vest on it.
I asked my grandfather, "what are you doing?" My grandfather replied, "little friend, I'm sweeping the floor." I said, "why sweep the main road?" "Sweeping the floor can make the road clean and serve the people," he said
I saw him holding a broom in one hand and a dustpan in the other. He swept the scraps of paper into the dustpan with a broom. I was shocked by his skillful action.
