金沙湖建在下沙农贸市场的西边，开车过去也就十来分钟。下了车，我就直奔湖边。
走进南大门，印入我眼帘的，首先是一大片环湖的草坪。草坪上种着一棵棵高大的树，都像士兵一般站得笔直笔直的。还是早春呢，可是树的芽已经开始冒出来了，很新鲜。嫩绿中带着一点鹅黄，星星点点的，闪着毛茸茸的'眼睛。让人感觉春天已经来到了我们身边。不过也有一些树，很怪，还是光秃秃的，树皮很粗糙，像老太太的皮肤。所有的树，我都叫不上名。不过我想等到他们长得密密层层的时候，站在树下一定很凉爽。
湖水虽然没有清得透明，但是很绿很绿，像翡翠似的。夕阳西下，湖面上波光粼粼的，很好看。湖边，是软软的沙滩，妈妈告诉我，那是人工铺成的。我想到了夏天，赤脚走在沙滩上，应该很舒服吧。
湖的北边，种着许多桃树，红艳艳的，像穿着粉红色舞裙的小妞。有几个人还站在桃树边上摆POSE呢。真是“人面桃花相映红”啊！
现在的金沙湖，还没全部建成，没有对外开放。等到全部完工的话，它一定会更美，更迷人的。
