一路上，尼尔斯机智地打败了狐狸斯密尔，从强盗山逃出来，从男孩手里逃了出来，尼尔斯差点儿被国王铜像踩扁……最后，尼尔斯骑着大白鹅和雁群克服了重重困难，终于回到了拉伯兰。
后来，尼尔斯知道了怎样变回人的方法，可是必须让别的生物变成拇指大才行，白鹅马丁愿意变小，尼尔斯也就变大了，回到了爸爸妈妈的身边。
尼尔斯这种机智勇敢的精神，真的非常值得我们学习！
我真的非常想和尼尔斯骑着大白鹅一起到森林里去旅行，看看那些高大挺秀的大树，听听小鸟那悦耳的歌声，我要给大雁们带去狐狸报警器，让狐狸们不能再去侵犯雁群，我还想让森林里所有动物都过上幸福的生活，没有人类去打扰他们。
