一天，不知道谁激怒了他，他一早就急忙去跟晶晶表白：“晶晶，我喜欢你，请你嫁给我吧！”晶晶回答说：“你高大威猛，我也很喜欢你。可是，你太脏了。嘴里有很浓的腥味，你得保证你今后不再吃小动物了。”“好的，我这就去洗澡，我会让你嫁给我的。”老虎说完，就回家去了。
老虎回家后，就去了池塘，痛痛快快地洗了个澡。
第二天，他又去找晶晶，对她说：“你看，我已经洗好澡了，也刷好了牙，这回你该嫁给我了吧？”“还不行。”晶晶说，老虎可急了，问：“为什么还不行？”晶晶回答他，说：“你的牙齿太锋利了，我怕你会伤到我的。”“那好，我这就去把牙齿给拔了。我会让你嫁给我的，我坚信。”老虎回到家，找了螃蟹医生，让他把他的牙齿给一颗一颗尖利的牙齿拔掉了。
第三天，老虎又来了，他对晶晶说：“我把牙齿给拔了，这是我用来吃东西的，现在，我为了你把它拔了，你嫁给我吧。”“这还不行，你的爪子也太锋利了，我担心，你会用它来伤害我。”晶晶说，老虎着急了，说：“晶晶，如果我的爪子没了，我怎么捕捉食物？”晶晶双手抱胸，说道：“要么是我，要么是你的爪子，你选一个吧。”“好，我这就去把爪子上的指甲给剪掉。”老虎说。
老虎回家后，叫了龙虾大夫把他的爪子剪掉了。
第四天，老虎又跑到晶晶面前，说：“这回你该嫁给我了吧？”晶晶却拿出一根棍子，说：“老虎，我很欣赏你的信心，可是，你害了我们那么多的同胞，我很恨你。所以。我必须了你，为我的同族报仇！”老虎听后，哈哈大笑，说道：“来吧，我不怕你！如果，我不是老虎，这样我就能娶你了！我希望，我下辈子，可以跟你做朋友。”说完，他闭上眼睛。一群小动物冲出来，要了老虎，晶晶拦住了他们：“不要他，他是个有情有义的男子汉！”老虎却说：“我的牙齿、爪子都没有了，就算你放了我，我又怎么生存呢？”说完，拿起晶晶手上的棍棒，向自己砸去。
从此以后，小动物们又过上了幸福、和平的生活。

第二个出场的是大公鸡。它一声鸣叫，飞上了舞台，很不服气地说：“如果要选美，当然要数我了。我不仅长着一身五彩缤纷的羽毛，还戴着一顶鲜红的帽子，特别是拥有世界上最美的歌喉，我还有动物界男高音歌唱家的美称呢。我可比那秃尾巴的兔子美多了。”临下场的时候，它还不忘喔、喔、喔地大叫一声，一展歌喉，着实把动物评委们吓了一大跳。
最后上场的是孔雀。在优美音乐的伴奏下，在七彩灯光的闪烁下，它迈着轻盈的舞步，从后台款款地走上舞台。它什么也不说，只是先微笑着向大家深深地鞠了个躬，然后展示各种开屏的姿势，真是艳丽迷人，直把大家看得眼花缭乱。
最后，评委们一致亮出了本次比赛的最高分——9999分。
孔雀理所当然地获得了冠军。
