Reading Notes of Pride and Prejudice
“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” This beginning sentence of the book seems to tell us the main story of the book is about the marriage of rich men. The heroine of the book is Elizabeth and at the chapter One, we are told that the father Mr. Bennet prefers Elizabeth among his daughters, in this case, Elizabeth must be a girl who is more special and intelligent.
The story is about love and marriage. Charlotte married Collins because his fortune and she feels nervous about her age even the man is so old-fashioned and ingratiating. However, their marriage is about money and they do not get the real happy. The other man Wickham is a handsome but a man who is a liar. He lies to Elizabeth to gain her appreciation. And his love with Lydia is shallow and about appearance. The love of Jane and Bingley has a better ending. They have love in the relationship and appreciate each other because of the deeper virtue. But they do come through a lot because the misunderstanding they had before.
The love of Elizabeth and the hero of the book Darcy responses the title Pride and Prejudice. In the eye of Elizabeth, Darcy is no doubt pride and arrogant. Darcy falls in love with Elizabeth and proposes marriage to her, but he is still very arrogant so Elizabeth refuses him directly. Darcy
feels hard hit and regrets of being arrogant. However, Elizabeth has a prejudice about Darcy at the very beginning and mistaken believes in Wickham but she finally knows the truth and feels shame of her family. Darcy moves Elizabeth with his pleasant virtue in the end.

Courage, Love And Sincerity
What Gump has told me
Everyone should have a belief in his heart about life, beauty, and noble humanity. This is what Gump told me, who is a true man full of courage ,love, and sincerity in my mind.
Life is a box of chocolate and we can never know what it is inside before we open it. Just as Mrs Forrest put it, everyone has a destiny. As for Gump, he was thought to be a perfect fool since he was young. While, after watching the movie, I can not help but admire this young guy because of his braveness to deal with obstacles, his consistence to love and his devotion to friendship. Stupid he might seem to be, Gump gave a meaningful lesson to us who are what called more intelligent people.
Born as a boy with natural defects, Gump eventually accomplished plenty of achievements which we ordinary people can not approach. With a plain thought and natural optimism, Gump just did what he was good at, running as fast as he could, struggling toughly against destiny with all the facilities he had been given. To our surprise, he eventually graduated from college, got a military medal, became one of the best pingpong players around America and even owned a huge shrimp company. Astonishing and unbelievable as it was, those miracles did happen sometimes. Who says that great success only belongs to those
with super talents? In my opinion, those who endeavor to make their best also deserve applause and respect. Let us run towards the new sun and embrace everyday with hope and we can make a difference.
To tell the truth, I can not help but shed tears several times when I watch the moving scene where Gump rushed into dangerous forest again and again to save his battle companions. What great selfless devotion Gump showed us! Unfortunately, Bubble, one of the best friends of Gump died in the battle field, which left a great grief to Gum. While, after retiring from military service, Gum kept his promise and purchased a big shrimp ship in order to finish Bubble’ dream. Meanwhile, he also provided financial support to Bubble’ family. First Lieutenant Dan, a staunch soldier, who lost his two legs in Viet Nam , abandoned himself in the abyss of despair. Nevertheless, Gump still supported him and finally help him make peace with God. Gump told us that genuine friendship needs nothing but love and sincerity.
Another enlightenment Gum brought me is about the definition of true love .As a matter of fact, genuine love has little things to do with appearance, wealth or backgrounds but is concerned with tolerance, consistence and devotion just as what Gum behaved. Like carrots and peas, Gum and Jenny sit in the big banyan tree seeing the stars rising, took a walk at sunset, enjoyed the gorgeous scenery beside the lake .As we can see, Jenny did mean a lot to Gump and his selfless devotion to
Jenny is the most touching one I have ever seen which is the real romantic and permanent love, forming a sharp contrast to some superficial young people those days who care so much about substance and appearance.
Life is like a feather which drifts randomly in the swing of wind and there are quite some things we can not determine. But what we can do is traveling as far as we can with a genuine belief for courage, love and sincerity .If so, when time flied and all things fade away someday, the fragrance of our mellow life will last forever, just like what Gump did.

Tonight I watched the movie for the third time. I really enjoy this film so much.
So what＇s your choice between being a common person or a hero with people＇s reects? Most people will choose the latter. But what will be your choice if the cost is laying your lover among the risks? What will it be if the cost is you can never tell the girl, who you love so much, that you love her? The ider man had this contradiction. But finally he still chose the latter, not in order to be a hero, but to make this word peaceful.
I was so moved by the words the Aunt Mary said:
You will never guess what he wants to be, the ider man. He knows the hero when he sees one, too a few characters out there, flying all around out there, saving old girls like me. Lord knows kids like Henry need hero courageous, sacrificing for people, setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People enthrone them, cheer them, scream their names and years later they will tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse the one who taught them to hold on to stand longer. I believe there is a hero in all of us. They keep us be honest, give us strength, make us noble, and finally allow us to die with proud. Ever though sometimes we have to initiatively give up the thing we want most, even our dreams. Spider man did that for Henry, so he wants to know where he is gone. He needs him.

游船在江面上拖出了一条雪白的玉带，将两旁的碧波轻轻推开。有人站在船头唱歌，还有人双手拢在嘴边像孩子似的叫喊着。江水奔流，在船舷下发出了哗哗的水声，似乎是对那几位游人的应和。游船加速前进，江风像箭镞似的扑面而来，粗粝而豪放，带着腥湿的水汽。我站在船头上，恍惚中感到自己就是出征的水兵，是粗犷的江风赋予我一身的胆气和豪情。两岸的石壁刀削斧劈般高高一耸立，就仿佛是粗放的重庆汉子沉默地敞开了宽阔的胸襟，正等候哪一位温柔的渔家姑娘给予他们深情的温暖和安慰。
几番迂回曲折，巫峡十二峰遥遥在望。这些山峰都是长江水做的女儿，在晨光中依次羞怯地露出她们秀丽、清新的容颜。晨风送爽，两岸有红叶舞动，先是一点点的火星在跳跃，接着一一团一团一的火苗簇拥着、推挤着，呼啦啦地向山顶蔓延而去，燃成了巫峡的熊熊火光。我想，这些红叶或许就是两百万前我国最早的直立人——巫山人遗留下来的火种，烧红了大溪红陶和秦砖汉瓦，最后映红了巫峡的草木和山水，映红了重庆朝东的这一片沃土和天空。
巫峡的`每一座山峰都挺拔秀美，葱茏中红叶飘动，像亭亭少女，苍翠的衣裙上坠着朵朵红花，风情而妩媚，尤以神女峰更加绰约多姿，清丽动人。我们就在神女峰码头靠岸，然后步行上山。这是巫山红叶较为集中的地段。遍山的黄栌、乌桕、枫树，都是一些朴素、普通的树种，就像这巫峡的山民，毫不起眼，却坚韧、顽强、吃苦耐劳，扎根岩石的缝隙中，在苦寒和霜雪里绽放出生命中最美丽的红。一到秋天，这些树上挂起了十万盏火热的小红灯，它们像手掌、鸭掌、五星、爱心……形状各异，大方美观，以火红、红、酒红、铁红、紫红等深浅不一的光，在陽光下显得璀璨夺目，点燃了我们内心的热和惊叹。风吹过来，万千片红叶飞舞，那是万千份的热情燃一烧，是万千朵的红霞舞动，是万千片的层林尽染的梦幻啊。我走在林间，早晨的陽光照下来，懒洋洋的，像鹅绒般在空中轻轻飘散。升腾的水汽带着泥土和草木的芬芳，一缕缕地沁入肺腑，就像谷底远去的水声一样飘渺和恍惚。
我轻轻地摘下几片红叶，准备将它们带回去。红叶寄相思，那是爱情的象征，是心心相印的见证。在巫山红叶节期间，相关部门还组织了单身男一女的相亲会。我无法去想象那是怎么样一种浪漫、温馨的场景，我只相信一定有很多爱情的火焰像这满山的红叶一样热烈、多情和奔放。
拾级而上，山道越发陡峭难行。我在山道旁的凉亭中小憩，满山红叶层层叠叠，绵延不绝，像长江水一样在峰峦中起伏跌宕，奔腾着冲向遥远的天边。瞧，满山都亮开了红红的嗓子和歌唱，整坡都飘飞着绚烂的颂词和祝福。谷底清清的长江就是水做的丝绸，一路向东，带走了多少沉甸甸的歌谣、传说、民俗和历史。我感到液有些沸腾了，仿佛我也是这满山的一片红叶，是这万千片红叶中一一团一燃一烧的火焰。我想，我的前生定是一个巫山人了，在这里占卜、炼丹、耕种、纺织，将神秘、源远流长的巫文化，在长江的奔流中泽润着五千年的中华文明史。
攀到神女石下，终于得以近距离地瞻仰神女。那几百米千仞绝壁，正是神女亭亭的身姿。她下浣江水，上倌云霞，其朝为行云、暮为行雨的脉脉含情之态，不知醉倒多少文人客的笔墨，并在长江水日复一日的奔流中沉淀为宝贵而丰厚的神女文化。
关于神女峰的传说众说纷纭，其中有一种说法是这样的：西王母幼一女瑶姬，下凡间来帮大禹治水，并爱上了他，在此日夜守候，最后化为了神女峰。对于神话传说，我们不必去辨别它的真伪，它只是寄托着千百年来劳动人民的一种美好心愿。我更愿意相信，其实这就是一个在巫峡生活的船工的妻子，在苦苦地等候着丈夫回家。
我久久地凝视着神女，内心里柔情万千。你看那满山的红叶，就是她泣的相思，是她望穿秋水中眼泪氤红了巫峡的草木，还是她对着江水梳妆的胭脂，是她夜夜梦回一团一圆的情话和呓语。她脚下的长江奔流不息，一年年过去了，连巫山最妙手回春的神医巫咸，也没还找到治疗她忧伤的良药。不知多少云绕雾迷，多少雨打风吹，多少江水声声如呜咽，神女依旧伫立山颠，望断了天涯和日月。秋深了，她便满山满野地点上了一盏盏的小灯，在风霜中温暖着爱人回家的归程。我想，纵然她空等千年，相思也千年，但这份爱永在，这份情永存，就可以让多少伴侣石烂海枯，守侯着天荒和地老；又可以让多少恋人返璞归真，洗尽了铅华和浮尘。
多美啊，这苍山奇峰、水碧叶红，这动的静的、自然的人文的，都生生不息，和谐一体。我又一次举目四眺，但见红叶烂漫，翩翩欲飞，在飒飒的秋风中铺开了波澜壮阔的史诗和画卷。这是巫山的红，是长江的红，是中国的红，是一个民族脉汹涌的红，越是饱饮风霜，历经苦难，就越加显出她美丽而浩博的色泽。
