世界安静了下来，一片寂静，生活中都充斥着寂，我手中的卷子也不情愿的被束缚，挣扎着落在地上，我心中有些不悦：怎么又停电了！
我及不情愿的同母亲一起去买蜡烛，母亲在身后翻找着什么东西，久久未从房间里出来，我刚要埋怨，突然眼前的光线变得强烈了，原来，是母亲把手电找出来了。刚才，那楼道在我眼前还是无尽的深渊，而此刻却是充满温暖灯光的小路——心中也是温暖的。
我在前面走着，母亲在身后为我照亮下楼的路，可是这灯光突然消失了，害得我差点摔倒，我刚想回头埋怨母亲，可我却说不出话来。原来母亲用灯光照亮了别人回家的路，一位年迈的老人因为有了灯光从而可以看清楚前方的\'路，不至于摔倒。
目送老人回家之后，母亲回过头来对我说：每个人其实都是一盏灯，只有照亮他人，才能体现自身的价值。
那一瞬间，我突然觉得手电筒发出的关不再明亮，反而，母亲的那句话却照亮了我的整个心灵，整个世界都是温暖的。
是啊，人生不就是在帮助他人的过程中，得到快乐，体现自身价值吗！
