The person I admire is my mum. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Students all enjoy her class.
My mum is not only a good teacher, but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. My mum teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies, it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. When I’m feeling sad or bad, it is also my mum who looks after me with care.
I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year, my mum took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection, it was about 5 o’clock in the early morning. My mum only slept 2 hours because she had to wake up at 7 o’clock to prepare breakfast for me, and then she went to work. She must be very tired that day.
My mum is not very beautiful, but I admire and love her.

从中华人民共和国成立以来至今的七十年，这段说短不短，说长不长的岁月中，藏着太多太多的不容易。《我和我的祖国》这部电影正是分别讲述了建国七十周年以来的一个个故事。
我最喜欢的，是一个叫《前夜》的故事，就发生在举行开国大典前一天的晚上。林治远工程师正在为电动升旗装置做准备，他为了确保方案万无一失，就用三比一的模型进行了最后的实验。然而升旗实验却出了问题，林治远冲破一切阻挠来到广场——焊接阻断球只有他能做。他冒爬上二十二米高的旗杆，完成焊接。
我当时很难想象林治远是如何克服了恐高的心理，换成是我，我肯定会恐惧得说不出话、手脚发软。
第二天，当按下按钮，鲜艳的五星红旗在空中伴着庄严的国歌冉冉升起，昂扬地飘扬在空中，飘扬在世界的东方。林治远望着国旗，滚烫的两行泪流在他的脸上。
我当时明白了，让林治远奋不顾身的到底是什么。
想起在这之前，有一位军长派来的军人的想法和林治远的意见相左，气得林治远说：“你以为升起来的仅仅是块红布吗？”
升起来的当然不仅仅是一块红布，它是国家成立的一个标志，代表了一个国家的精神。这也正是林治远所担当的责任，它推动着他，在一个“惊心动魄”的未眠之夜，做了一回“英雄”。
我看完这个故事，内心的感动与敬佩之情久久不能平复。为了开国大典的顺利举行，大家精益求精，在原材料缺少时，北京城的老百姓们都纷纷送上了自己家里的物品。
我们深深爱着自己的祖国——万千中华儿女伟大的母亲，我们与她紧密相连。我在《前夜》中甚至隐隐看到了我和我身边众人的影子，因为这也是我们共同的责任。

When I was in high school, one of my classmates sit right beside me. His name is ChenLiang. He is my unforgettable person in my life.
I remembered my mathematics was just mediocre at that time, but he was extraordinary and excellent in calculating and solving mathematic questions. He often received perfect scores. Of course, I wished I could reach at his level. Since we talked all day long, I asked how he could solve those difficult questions. He was so patient and polite to answer my sometimes ridiculous thinking. Gradually, I built my confidence at mathematics and finally passed the college entrance exam.
Now, we are apart, but I still remember his great attitude and willing in study. I am so obliged to my classmate, who is my friend always and forever.
