首先上场的.是美国队，她们的动作一致，水花也小。我心中像多了疙瘩，真怕中国队得不了第一名。接下来上场的就是中国队了，可是中国队派的竟然是两名十六七岁的小运动员。我在心中疑惑的问自己：“她们会赢吗？”当她们站在跳台的时候，我瞪大眼睛看着屏幕。
她们的动作很一致，水花也很小。这时我心中像放下了一个重重的包袱，只有一信念：她们会赢。其他的队我就不提了，因为只有美国队和中国队比分咬的最紧。

再往北看，一朵洁白的巨型莲花，在东湖畔静静地开放，若是傍晚，绚丽的灯光映照在莲花上，更给莲花带来了风情万种的感觉。这朵莲花就是全世界独一无二的建筑物，是为纪念平湖的名人，著名的教育家、音乐家、美术家李叔同先生，这座别致的建筑就是李叔同纪念馆。踏着铺着鹅卵石的小路，太阳的光辉透过树隙洒在莲花上。走进纪念馆，看到的是李叔同的雕像和他写的“悲欢交集”四个字。我想，悲也罢，欢也罢，他都会以一颗赤子之心去看待，我们学到的是他对艺术、教育、理想的`执著探求。
东湖的南面是一座平湖的标志性建筑——报本塔，它是平湖劳动人民智慧的结晶，也是平湖人崇尚和传承孝德文化的一个缩影。
东湖的东面是迷人的两大公园——案山晓翠和北原牧唱。案山公园里有一个风铃广场，一阵风吹过，风铃发出“叮叮咚咚”的声音，仿佛在奏一曲美妙的乐章。
华灯初上，西边的九峰一览楼更是艳丽，白天登上楼，可以远望乍浦九龙山。每年到了西瓜灯艺术节，这里是主要的西瓜灯展示区，屋檐下、走廊边、凉亭里挂满各种雕刻精美的西瓜灯，到了晚上，更是灯海、人海，一张张的 笑脸点缀着我的家乡东湖的美。
