竞争，对于人的发展和社会进步有促进作用，世界离不开竞争，自然界，动植物会为了一点利益相互捕，偷掠，官场上，多少得罪人的勾心斗角，冷箭暗器，世界上，多少发达国家乃至发展中国家为打破一超多强格局在全国发展。竞争，它给予人的是最大限度地激发我们的潜能，不断提高效率，发现自己的局限性。德谟克利特曾感叹过：“不敢同冠军较量，就永远争不到冠军。”从这一面来看，或许，选择竞争是相当正确了。事情的两面性不至会如此，竞争的不利，与它的好处是同重的，我们中考前，许多人避免不了紧张与失眠，竞争的压力和心理的防御是重要的.，也许它会产生竞争中偏激的思想：嫉妒产生的是向别人投射冷箭暗器，在竞争之外的猎，使人走向极端变得卑劣，从而言之，竞争不能盲目断行。
合作，是个人或群体间为达到共同的目的需要的彼此合作，世界离不开合作，自然界，为了避免或减少被狩猎者所捕，通常会采取合作保护群体的做法，官场里，党派之间需要合作才能使自己不易被排挤，楚时《离》的作者屈原就是因不参与而被排挤才有了如今投汨罗江。更不用说世界上正采取经济一体化的贸易，没有合作，闭关锁国的清朝也为之垮台，中国有句老话：人心齐，泰山移。是的，有多少名人学士为了它赞叹出千古名句，一个人的力量或许是有限的，但群体的力量，是无比强大的，人们会说：“这样，选择合作是正确了的吧。”我却说：“不。”合作的双刃在于前者，竞争是不可分开的，没有了竞争，合作的力量止步不前，分享如今的喜悦却不看今后的结果，可能也不是永远的成功，所而言之，合作不可孤行。
那么把两方面的选择都否定了，也就没了答案，而去把竞争与合作相互融合，作出你中有我，我中有你的关系，不就为双赢了吗？在合作中竞争，向对手学习，在竞争中合作，发扬团结向上精神，不以成败论英雄，古就有谚语：“一花独放不是春，百花齐放春满园。”是的，在今后的选择上，也许只是双选才能体现“双赢”，也就选择了“双赢。”
