我爷爷不仅种田，还在山上种凤梨，荔枝，每年夏天，我和弟弟总能大吃一顿。我们每天都希望凤梨和荔枝成熟。爷爷非常疼我们，常常会给我们一些零用钱，让我们去买吃的。爷爷对于稻子也是非常关心，记得有一次风刮的大，雨也呱呱地下，爷爷半夜冒着雨，跑到田里去，生怕雨水让稻子受到伤害。还有一次，因为太久没下雨，爷爷从下午七点多便去田里“顾田水”，生怕别人把水引到别处去，稻子没有水会枯。所以他一直守在那里。
