现在已经不是越穷越光荣的年代了，学子面对家庭的贫困，更多的是无奈、无助、困惑，相对于富家子弟，他们的心灵往往更为脆弱。国家的助学政策、众多的慷慨之士，无疑给他们的求学提供了可能性，然而部分实施救助的人在崇尚作秀的不良风气下，对本充满爱心的助学行动，采取大肆宣传的模式，录像、拍照、宣传、报道，在这样的活动中，很多学子不堪其累，贫穷得到曝光，隐私得到展现，部分学生的个人自尊得到一定程度的戕害。感恩的眼泪不一定非要通过镜头来检验，捐资助学的善举不一定非要呈现在广大的电视观众的面前，物质的帮扶的同时莫忘精神帮扶。
扶贫还要扶心。要时刻注意呵护学生的心灵，保护他们的自尊。现在的扶贫助学模式，往往是“一帮一”的模式，谁帮谁双方都知道，这种结对帮扶在方便、快捷、便于联系的同时，其实还有很多弊端：帮助者是否应该得到被助者的报答？被助者是否就应该念念不忘被帮扶而感恩的情感包袱？被助者不感恩是否应该受到谴责？不感恩是否帮助者就应该中断施助？曾经见到报道，一个得到救助的学生几年里连个电话也不打，连封信也不写，更没有登门道谢的事情，施助者感到委屈，叫屈的同时甚至想停止救助。报道以来，媒体和社会纷纷谴责被救助的学生，大谈必须实施感恩教育。我们承认这样的学生也会存在，但在谴责的同时，谁又会理解得到救助的学生的那颗过分敏感的心灵呢？他们没有感恩的举动，不一定是人品所致，很可能是别有隐情。所以，现在提倡的“暗助”还是十分可行的，这种暗助正是对学生心灵的最好呵护。有个学校为了帮助贫困生，根据食堂电脑统计，针对每个月花费伙食费最少的那部分学生，学校都会偷偷为其在餐饮卡里注入一定量的伙食资金，这样既帮助了学生，又有效的保护了学生的面子，保护了学生的自尊心，让他们暗暗地感恩社会。
忽然想起了前几年报纸上登的一个小故事，一个盲女为了自食其力每天站在街头卖花，一个企业的老板看到后慷慨解囊，拿出一大笔钱交给盲女生活用。固执的盲女谢绝了企业老板的好意，一分钱不要。企业的老板改变了办法，从此他天天到卖花的盲女前买花，有时候自己忙就派自己的员工去买花。卖花的盲女因为能够自食其力而由衷的`快乐，那个聪明善良的老板因为助人也感到了由衷的快乐。那个企业的老板实在可贵，他用自己的善良帮助了人，更可贵的是他保护了盲女的那颗心灵。通过这个故事，我们知道帮助方法的不当很容易造成受助者的“接受施舍”的认识误区，这时候的帮扶就成了拆了心灵的“东墙”去补充物质的“西墙”的举动了。
给学生一个捐资助学求学的机会，要给学生一份情感上的体谅和态度上的温情，更要给学生一个健全的人格。不要给学生贴上贫困的标签，不要让每当新学年伊始的扶贫助学再成为教育四季歌中一段悲情旋律，莫忘扶贫还要扶心，真正让受助的学生成为学有所成、心智健全的完美无瑕的人。
