下午放学回家，我带上五元钱，出发买菜。来到菜场，看着道路两旁摆着的琳琅满目的新鲜蔬菜、各色，我不禁垂涎欲滴。我从兜里掏出一个事先写好的菜单，绕了大半个菜场，好不容易找到了，我开口问：“老板，我买五角钱的蔬菜，可以吗？”老板拎着一个边捞酸菜边用一口浓浓的本地话说道：“可以的啊，。”我听起有点吃力，不知所措地付了钱，拿起菜走了。同样的事出现了好几次，但幸好他们个个都做得一样，都把菜给我了。
我心里那块和本地话作斗争的石头终于放下了。但我根本没有想到更难的做菜在等着我。
我回到家里，把菠菜一棵棵去掉那像胡子一般的根，把菠菜叶子一片一片地拨开，放进一个铁盆去洗。在我的手触摸水的一刹那，不禁感到冷得刺骨，心想：难道父母每次也是这样忍着水的冰冷洗菜吗？我忍着水的冰冷，认真地搓洗每一片叶子，当洗完后，我感到腰酸无比，脚上的.鞋也沾满了水。
我把锅放在上，打燃开关，在锅底盛上油，待油烧热后，我毫无防备地把辣椒放进去，“吱——”的一声，滚烫的油泡在一刹那突然溅起，有几滴掉在了我的手上，我情不自禁地吹着被烫伤的手。当辣椒由红色即将变为焦黑色时，我连忙放进菠菜，接着，用锅铲在锅里来回地翻动，菠菜慢慢地缩水，我放了一些盐和味精，菜熟了，我用锅铲费劲地铲进了盘子里，一道辣椒炒菠菜出锅了。
要开炒第二盘菜了，我倒上菜籽油，等热了之后，我吸取了第一次放辣椒的教训，小心翼翼地放进了小尖椒。可我万万没想到的事情发生了，小尖椒在锅里才一会儿，浓浓白雾状带着辣味的东西开始弥漫了。这时，我觉得鼻子里仿佛穿进了一只小虫子，眼睛仿佛被鼻子里的小虫子打开了开关，让我的眼睛里盈满泪水。一，我手忙脚乱地放多了盐。当把这道菜铲进盘子里品尝时，咸的程度远远超出我的意料。
菜的味道虽然差强人意，但毕竟是自己亲自动手做的，心里感觉还是有一点点成就感。当我看了看窗外已经黑下来的和“伤痕累累”的手时，我也真正懂得了“父书空满筐，母线萦我褥”的含义。

记得有一次，我放学回家，我开起灯，正要打开书包做作业，就听见奶奶大惊小怪地喊道：”唉，现在还早呢，天还亮着呢，你开什么灯啊！快关了!"奶奶一边大发雷霆地骂我，又一边连忙把灯关掉。我十分气愤地对奶奶说：”奶奶！现在天有一点点黑了，开个灯有什么关系嘛！” ”什么没关系啊！灯不要钱吗？钱会从天上掉下来吗？趁现在天还是亮着，赶紧到院子里去做，我去给你搬一张桌子和椅子。”最后我还不是被奶奶拉去院子里做作业。 奶奶的“法宝”二：少时间洗澡
还有一次，我在洗澡。因为那是冬天，只要一关掉热水器，整个身体都会好像在北极被冰冻一样，非常得冷。所以我就故意拖延时间热水器一直开着。五分钟,十分钟，十五分钟，二十分钟······“曼茹，怎么洗个澡这么久啊？”奶奶在门外大喊道。“没关系啦，就多洗一会啦！” “你洗得太久了，水是生命之源，我们要珍惜它 ！”“好了好了，我关掉热水器就是了。”于是，我就把热水器关掉，擦了擦身体，穿好衣服就睡觉了。我的奶奶是不是很节俭呢？我们都要向她学习哦！
奶奶的两大“法宝”是不是很厉害呢？多亏奶奶，我们家电费可减少了很多呢！
