现在好象是主要保护野生动物，不大在乎家养动物，厚彼薄此，又使人觉得在野的胜过在朝的，有点攘外必先安内的味道。那些吃人害人的毒蛇猛兽，现在荣膺国家一级或二级保护动物的称号，据说是太稀少了，物以稀为贵。这正如授勋一样，大元帅大将军能有几个呢。
动物园里的狮子老虎慵懒地养在笼子里，安于养老，已完全没有了往日的威风。为了恢复它们的霸气和野性，一此研究单位处心竭虑地就在要把它们放归大自然之前，用活牛活羊训练它们的嗜性，好让它们以后能自力更生自食其力地自己养活自己。看到那淋淋的场面，让人会发出难道这些家畜不是动物吗的感慨，要知道它们可也是被人从野生动物驯化而来的呀！
于是就会得出种族数量太多就有生命之虞的结论。比如猪羊鸡鸭太多，人们都不感觉它们是动物而只是家畜家禽。它们生长成熟的目的不外乎就是供人们戮并被吞吃。再比如人太多了也不会称高级动物而叫人类，他们也是长期互相戮争斗并引以为乐事。
家畜家禽被人宰吞食从来都被认为是天经地义的事，可还是有些善心居士和动物保护人士会动恻隐之心，于是乎就有放生之举以对抗生之心。鲁迅先生就评论过香港原来禁止倒提鸡鸭，以为这样一来就能免除它们的受虐待。可是你想过没有，它们被割断喉咙或鱼类被生剐鳞片时痛苦的.惨烈该是多大！那些动物保护人士还不至于提出先给鸡鱼打一针安乐然后再行刑的法案吧?
说到猪羊鸡鱼这些动物让人养大被宰供人吃喝，还没有多少人给太多的同情，因为它们除了牺牲自己奉献人类外，对人类也没有其他的贡献。可是牛马呢？它们一生只啃点草料，勤勤恳恳任劳任怨地为人类耕地拉车驼重运输，功劳可大着呢！可是它们临时也逃不了残忍一刀，先进汤锅再入人腹，可悲啊！所以人们常爱引用经典语言当台词：什么来世当牛做马怎么怎么的。只有这些话才给它们的心灵些许慰藉，也给吃肉的人们为自己的行为找些宽解。不过想想也是，总不至于当牛老岗位时，大家去挖一个老大老大的坑把它隆重下葬吧。既费工占地不说，而那些牛肉罐头的原料又从哪里来喃？
所以说只保护野生动物，家禽水产不在其类，这使大家充分到家花没有野花香的魅力所在。根本原因是善心人也好，动物保护者也好，他们都是要吃肉的。这才划分了一部分动物需要保护，一部分动物被需要屠，以满足各类人的需要。
真正倡导动物保护主义的人，就一定不要吃肉，就该象真正的和尚一样，他们是真心吃斋诚心向佛的。

我们要保护野生动物，因为我们保护野生动物，野生动物对我们人类也会很友好。
比如说燕子，燕子能帮我们把田里的害虫吃掉。如果我们人类害捕捉它们，它们会吃掉那些常常来搔扰我们的蚊子，让我们更好地生活吗?没有了燕子，我们的周围变得很多害虫，这些害虫对我们人类有很大的'坏处呀!

我最后举个例子。比如说猫头鹰，猫头鹰捉田鼠，是对我们人类有好处的，人类却常常捕猎它们。没有猫头鹰，田鼠会增加。田鼠吃的庄稼和菜就更多了，我们人类一样没有好的收成。
所以，我们要保护以上的动物。同时，我们还要保护其他的野生动物!
