3.阅读说明文时，要善于利用总启句、总结句和过渡句。
总启句往往是这一部分说明内容的`关键，把握住了它，后文的内容自然清楚明了，课文说明了哪些内容自然烂熟于心。
总结句是对前文说明内容的总结，具有在深入一层的基础上加以画龙点睛的作用，通过它可以对前文复杂的内容予以简化。
过渡句通常是两个不同方面不同内容的国度桥梁，具有很强的路标性，借助它可以迅速理清文章的内容和结构。
4.阅读说明文，要能熟知本文运用了哪些说明方法以及这些说明方法的作用。
5.阅读说明文，要学习领悟它的用词准确。
说明文相对记叙文少了飞扬的文采，却多了遣词用字的精炼性，所以许多检查你对字词把握状况的测试，喜欢通过说明文来进行。因此我们对说明文中的一些字词，尤其是看似作用不大的修饰、限制式的虚词更加要留意。
