有些同学在“点题”时，自觉是“高人”，总是嫌作品中的人物太“草根”，激情缺失，心智愚钝，思想苍白，于是路见“草根”一声吼，不该开口也开口：“就此打住，且听我给你指点迷津。”
也有些“聪明”的同学，自觉此举有点太“喧宾夺主”了，于是玩起了“小精神”——让“代言人”开口。何谓“代言人”？就是作者凭空虚拟的一个高人，其作用是在记叙文中及时出场，来替作者发言。其经典造型有二：一是武侠版的仙风道骨的老者，二是文化版的穷经皓首的圣哲。一开口，不是“真谛”，就是“哲理”，让你霎时“灵魂出窍”“肃然起敬”。
殊不知，我们都是生活在大干世界的一介“草根”，虽然身份“卑微”，但对生活、人生、社会的感悟并不“卑下”。在“点题”时，草根开口，虽还有点青涩，但它是只属于记叙文中人物的独特感悟；而高人聒噪，虽高纯而高标，但它已是“我们地球人”的共同感悟。记叙文中“点题”的震撼力，生成于“我的”个性，而绝非“我们的”共性，而且还有着自身独特的“质感”和“况味”。
在记叙文《不喝牛奶的孩子也一样长大》中，一位来自大瑶山贫困农村的老父亲是这样教育自己与城市同学比条件的孩子的：“孩子，你不要和人家攀比，一个人活的是志气。记住，不喝牛奶的孩子也一样长大。”这句话虽出自“草根”，粗糙而又土气，但它是原生态的，有着“硬汉”的性和“不向命运低头”的刚性，它比任何“高人”的“真理”更富有生活的质感和人生的况味。

even if such a catastrophe would not happen, there would be a great temperature difference on the two hemispheres of the earth, and the four seasons of the year would no longer occur because a day and a night would be as long as a whole year instead of 24 hours. all this would greatly affect the life of human beings, imals and plants and that would cause worse results than anything imaginable.
