Dear editors of English Weekly，
Now I want to tell you something about wild animals。There are a lot of wild animals living on the same earth with us。They are our friends and neighbors。However，some of them are dying out everyday because of the damages we humans have been doing to the environment。And the situation is still going worse and worse。For one thing，someone killed the tigers and sold their skins to make money。They must be punished。I think we should all be responsible for that and realize that it is our everyone's duty to protect the wild animals。They have their right to live just as our human beings。We should treat them with love and care，respect the law of nature and share the same land with them!Let try our best to make a happy home for human beings and animals。

As is often read in the newspaper reports， wild life especially the rare species is threatened with extinction。 Human beings are XXX attempts to hunt wild animals for a big profit。， which， of course， results in a sharp decrease in the number of animals。 So it is high time for us to take quick action to protect them。 First of all， it's quite necessary for every citizen to realize the importance of animal protection。 Only by knowing its importance can people develop a sense of responsibility。 People will surely take it for granted to have the duty to prevent any killing of wild animals。 So a national publicity campaign should be launched， thus giving animals a good living environment。 In addition， the government should pass some laws to forbid any hunting of rare animals。 We don't expect anything harmful to wild life to happen again。
If everyone is involved in the protection of wild life， we're sure man will be a good friend of animals rather than their enemy。

乡村景色，总是那么美丽，那么令人陶醉。
每当我和好伙伴一起聊天时，一聊到东阳，我就会说个没完没了，好像是东阳导游似的。其实，我的老家就在东阳。
王坑岭是东阳的一个村落，奶奶就住在那儿。那里真是一年四季美如画。家门前是水池，后边是一座山，山上时常是绿树红花。远看这座山，就像是一位巨人，保卫着整个村子以及村子里的每一个人。
最让我难忘的是奶奶家门前的那口大池塘。
春天来了，微风吹过，爽得池子里的鸭子游来游去，嘎嘎嘎地叫着，好像在说：“春天真美呀！”两边的桃树把“手”伸了出来，瞬间绽放出浅粉色的桃花。此时，村里的人们会在池子边喝上几杯山茶，又是一道美丽的风景线。
盛夏时节，桃树夹岸的池塘中，流淌着碧绿的池水，鸭子们白天不再游得那么欢。太阳高照，水面上出现了无数银子似的，闪闪发光。傍晚，气温下降，小伙伴们个个冲进池塘，游泳的游泳，不会游得就打水仗，欢笑声此起彼伏。
秋天的景色更是美丽！池塘几乎全被落叶覆盖，简直像是盖了一条金色的毯子。秋风吹来，落叶散开，偶尔还能看见几条小鱼仔池子里游来游去。夜深了，星星布满天空，或许这只有乡村才能看见的美景。星星离我们是那样的近，真有种“手可摘星辰”的感觉。
冬天来临，池塘里结了一层厚厚的冰，我的哥哥上次还在上边滑过冰呢！池塘似乎开始了冬眠，两边的大树也穿上了厚厚的冬衣，弯着腰，难道是犯了错误？终于，冬阳出来了，冰慢慢裂了化了，我们忍不住去拾一小块，尝尝冰块的味道。
我们村的附近还有红塘、许宅和卢宅等村落，美不胜收！

乡村是一幅美丽的画，乡村是一首动听的歌。
傍晚走在小路上，太阳红了脸，霞光照在每一个人的脸上、每一棵绿树上面，那些人、树都被霞光的红所感染了。
乡村的小河清澈见底，鱼儿在河水里欢快地摇着它的尾巴在快乐地游着。那儿的水喝起来甘甜可口，那里面还有小贝壳呢！风儿轻轻拂过水面，风为小河的歌声伴奏，“叮叮叮，叮，叮叮，叮叮叮”。不时变换着曲调，真好听！
乡村里的孩子虽然没有跷跷板、秋千什么的，可是他们的玩具也不比城市差。枪，是男孩子的热爱，可城市里的枪高级，可危险指度也高呢！乡下孩子也有枪可是真“手”哟，安全环保无污染，那乡下杂草丛生，玩“穿越火线”也逼真、有气势。那里女孩都是踢毽高手，她们的毽都是很实惠的，乡下家家户户都油鸡，她们随便拔几根鸡毛做，就一个鸡毽就OK了。
油菜花开的时候，从远处望去，就仿佛是看见了一片“金色的海洋”。勤劳的小蜜蜂又出来采密了，在花丛穿来穿去。美丽的蝴蝶可不能错过了这么好的时候，它也赶来在花丛中跳起舞来。
鸡、鸭、鹅定会在乡下人家的屋里出现。鸡、母鸡会带着小鸡在竹林中觅食，公鸡大踏步的在院子里走来走去；鸭会翘着屁股下河下塘洗澡游泳，不时把头扎入水中觅食；鹅会抬起像土匪一样拦路打劫，有时公鹅见人欺负母鹅一样挺身而出，可有一次就例外了。我爸车子开着去乡下奶奶家，鹅又拦路打劫，可见这个庞然大物公鹅跑锝好快，管都不管母鹅，那叫一个快，差点飞起来了。自身难保，怎么英雄救美呢？
风儿吹到蒲公英的脸蛋上，本想停留一会儿，可蒲公英散开了，在空中扭动着它那优美的身姿，翩翩起舞了。
乡村的美景美不胜收，说也说不完，看也看不尽。
一次我、爸爸、弟弟、外婆一起去挖藕。弟弟走到爸爸后面想打他，可正巧爸爸又在扔泥巴，丢到了弟弟那鼓鼓的肚子上，他气着了，把泥巴抓抓抓，竟抓到了一只冬眠的肥青蛙……

乡村的夏夜，让我陶醉。
走出院子，我来到小河边。我拔了一根狗尾草衔在嘴中，躺在那柔软的草地上，仰望明亮的夜空。天暗下来，空中出现了一轮明月，轻而薄的云朵，笼罩着深蓝色的天空，像一位带着面纱的少女，一会儿，云朵飘远，渐渐消失在夜空。一闪一闪空中出现了一颗星星；接着出现了第二颗、第三颗……天空便热闹起来。那一颗颗小星星，像眼睛一眨一眨，像灯火照亮了大地。看！星星们正围着月亮妈妈，原来它们在听月亮妈妈讲故事。有的小星星极认真的听妈妈讲故事，一动不动，非常听话；有的小星星却四处逃窜，非常淘气。
晚风吹着我的脸颊，我的长发便随风飘动。夜晚的小河非常安静，只是缓缓的流动，一阵微风吹过，它就起了皱纹，像位老人。河边的柳树在风中梳理着长发，像一位正要入睡的少女。杨树妈妈唱起摇篮曲，鸟儿听着动听的歌声慢慢入睡。
夏夜是那样安静，晚风吹着小草，发出“沙沙”的声响，让我感到有些荒凉；一条条乡村路上上没有一个人的影子，人们大概都已经睡着了吧！
看着看着，我有些困倦，便快步走回家。睡觉前我还在想着夏天的夜晚。
在梦中，乡村夏夜的景色又出现在脑海里……
