On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.

We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.

Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

虽然是零点的飞机，但是我们几个小孩一点也没有困意。别提外面的世界多美妙，单单是白云机场内就已经将我们吸引住。此刻，心中不禁赞叹，真庆幸自己有机会出来感受不同的当地风情。我们大家在飞机场内玩得很开心，吃饱喝好玩够买足之后我们来到飞往北京的班机等候区。由于飞机晚点，我们凌晨三点才到首都机场，下机之后心中不经涌现出一句话，夜空真美，我终于来到这个城市了。一路欣赏着路边的夜景：“看！天安门！”妈妈叫了起来。我往右一看：“哇，好雄伟好壮观。”接着不由得在心中默默赞叹着这个古城。然后我们便去原先定好的酒店休息。早上九点在睡熟了六个小时的我们精力充沛。二叔提议先去纪念堂，结果全票通过，说走就走。大家心里别提多开心，一路激动与兴奋的心情一直围绕着我们，不久便到达广场，人山人海的叫我看的真叫一个眼花，人们大队伍的.排着S型队伍一点一点的向前挪动。虽然看起来队伍很长，但是一想到可以看到伟大的心中的那种排队不耐烦的情感瞬间烟消云散。队伍一点点的向前挪动，我也没有闲着，用相机一直拍着这个神圣的地方的建筑，不时还在心里默默的赞叹。差不多一个小时后，我们到了纪念堂。里面那真叫一个肃静。我们上前赠了一朵花，以表示我们对主席的热爱与敬意。走过一个大厅一个水晶棺映入眼帘，里面躺着的不正是我们伟大的嘛？从未想过会和这样高等大人物有这样近的距离接触，心里别提有多开心，多骄傲了。他的样子真是一点都没变啊！仿佛刚睡一样。乌黑的头发，慈祥的面孔，宽大的肩膀，怎感觉他给人一种特别的高大的感觉？真为我国的防腐技术而感到骄傲！我多想留在这里，多看看我们的啊！可惜有规定，一路走过这里，不让停住脚步。

北京的景点多的数不胜数，接下来的几天，我们去了富丽堂皇的故宫，风景如画的颐和园，雄伟的长城，凄凉的圆明园和高大的天安门。其中最让我难忘的是颐和园。它是一座具有皇家风格的园林，走过曲幽的小径，眼前豁然开朗的是明湖映入眼帘，我们先走进长廊，它长的一眼望不到头，每间栏槛上都有都有一座有一幅栩栩如生的画，如此多的画，各有各的特点，都有值得让人赞不绝口的地方，走过长廊，我们爬上万寿山，往下一看，波光粼粼。再稍往远处看，碧蓝的天空和白云形成一道风景线。不知不觉已近黄昏，我们只好离去。

在北京的几天，我们看到古都的雄伟壮观。看到了北京人民的热情好客，看到了古代劳动人民的结晶，看到了中国的繁荣景象。北京，你给我留下了深刻的印象，如果还有机会，我定会重游北京城，再次感受它带给我的好奇与快乐！
