爸爸是我的偶像，他不是歌星、影星、球星之类的偶像，他是我学习的偶像。
爸爸是一名律师，平常工作很忙，经常获得一些奖项，也时而在报纸、电视上见到关于他的报道，有熟悉他的小朋友把他当作偶像，我也把他当作偶像。
我现在虽然对律师这个职业的了解还不是很深刻，但可以肯定，律师工作是集正义和智慧为一体的.工作。爸爸经常到外地出差，也经常到农村去处理一些纠纷，还经常出席法庭，帮别人打官司，维护权利。
爸爸是个正义感很强的人。在我上一年级时的一个晚上，我还在睡梦中，被爸爸的电话铃声惊醒。原来是一个农民工在山西发生了意外事故，迟迟得不到解决，需要爸爸火速支援。爸爸马上起床穿好衣服，收拾好行装，立即出发。过了5天他才回来，我问爸爸办得怎么样？爸爸告诉我，事情办得很顺利，为受害人挽回了36万元的损失。没过几天，一位农民伯伯给爸爸送来了一面写着“仗义扶弱，情暖百姓”的锦旗，表示感谢，我为爸爸感到高兴。
爸爸也是一个很有爱心的律师，他加入了助学团队，经常为一些上不起学的孩子提供帮助，帮助他们完成学业。他还经常为一些没钱打官司的当事人维护权利。前年冬天，我和爸爸看见有一个90多岁的老奶奶，孤单的坐在镇政府门前的台阶上，爸爸上前问清情况。原来老奶奶的子女之间闹矛盾，赡养得不到落实，经过村干部多次调解也没有结果，请求提供法律援助。爸爸欣然接受请求，免费帮老奶奶打赢了官司，最终落实了赡养问题，老奶奶可以安享晚年了。通过这件事，我明白了从小就要尊老爱幼。
爸爸是一个工作狂，经常半夜还在加班，工作勤勤恳恳、任劳任怨。爸爸通过努力，很多案例被评为省、市、县法律援助优秀案例，还获得了“劳动模范”、“感动人物”、“专业技术服务标兵”、“法律援助贡献奖”等等诸多荣誉。我知道这些闪光点和荣誉的背后，他不知付出了多少努力和艰辛，我为有这样的爸爸感到自豪。
我崇拜我的偶像爸爸，我要学习他爱岗敬业、认真负责的精神；学习他公平正义、不畏艰难的精神；学习他刻苦钻研、不断进取的精神。

其实爸爸很少批评我，并非是偏袒我，而是原则分明。有一次，我打翻了墨水瓶，将床单上弄得墨迹一片，我慌了，妈妈知道后很生气，所以我撒了谎，说是当时不在家的姐姐碰倒的，于是姐姐莫名其妙地挨了一顿批。后来我不知道爸爸如何知道了，他狠狠地骂了我。我那时吓坏了，平时很少批评我的爸爸发火了，这让我很害怕。可是爸爸说，诚实是做人的最基本的准则，若连诚实都做不到，还说当什么好孩子呢？我很后悔，我道了歉，但我仍然被罚了。
从那以后，我对爸爸就多了几份敬佩。
我们家是普通的工薪阶层，不算富裕，但爸爸却从不在乎，他开着一辆破旧的三轮车，带我们满城地跑，他甚至开玩笑说，这比轿车还好呢，是吹纯天然的风呢！爸爸还很关心国家大事，姐姐上了初中以后，就经常听到他俩谈论些什么鲁迅啊，政府又出台了什么政策。我听不懂，那时我很羡慕姐姐，她懂得真多啊，可以和爸爸讨论很多事情，所以我也要努力懂得更多，就可以和爸爸一样了。
爸爸是一个平凡不过的人，但我觉得他无愧是一个偶像。偶像何必非是明星大腕呢？平凡的人照样能发出动人的光彩。
