要说在本学期内我最喜爱的一本书，那自然是《简·爱》喽。
自从学了《小草和大树》这篇课文后，我就对从逆境中成长的夏洛蒂·勃朗特写的《简·爱》着迷起来。
小说中的简·爱出生于一个穷牧师家庭，在她很小的时候，父母由于染上伤寒，在一个月内相继去世。年幼的简寄养在舅妈家里，受尽歧视和瘧待。后来，简被送进劳渥德孤儿院。孤儿院教规严厉、生活艰苦，她在那里接受了八年的教育。
从孤儿院出来后，简到桑菲尔德庄园做家庭教师，并与主人罗切斯特相爱了。他们在教堂举行婚礼，可是婚礼当天，她才知道罗切斯特多年前已经结婚。法律阻碍了他们的爱情，使两人陷入了深深的痛苦之中。
在一个凄风苦雨之夜，简离开了罗切斯特。后来桑菲尔德庄园在一场大火中烧成废墟，纵火的疯女人坠楼身亡，罗切斯特也受伤并残疾。简·爱受尽磨难，最后原谅了罗切斯特，并与他结了婚，过上了幸福的生活。
这本书里的情节时常让我潸然泪下，对简·爱报以深深的同情。夏洛蒂·勃朗特和简·爱一样，都是在受尽磨难后依靠坚强的意志昂首挺胸。可以看出她们的人生主张一爱与尊严，两者缺一不可。
人生的道路是坎坷的，只有你有强大的信念、刚强坚韧的内心和坚持不懈的努力，才能通向幸福的大门。这是这本书告诉我的道理。

Recently, there is a popular saying: the world is so large that I want to have a look! As more and more people travel around during their holidays, tourists have brought large sum of money to the local people.
However, too many tourists also bring some problems to the local life. The most serious problem is the pollution caused by the uncivilized tourists. It’s reported that there were thousands of tons of rubbish left after the flag-raising ceremony on Oct. 1st. The uncivilized tourists left their rubbish wherever they go, polluting the local environment. Another problem is the traffic jam caused by so many tourists.
Tourist can promote the economic development of the local areas, but the pollution caused by those uncivilized tourists has brought severe problems. The local tourist authority should set up relative laws to protect the environment of the local areas, and every tourist obey the laws and help to make the places of tourist more beautiful!

简，有着坚强的性格。即使她背负着自然与社会给她的一切不幸，微不足道的她却依然独自主宰着自己的命运。这使她成为英国19世纪中一名少有的独立女性。
小时侯，简爱在寄居的舅妈家里，和骄横残暴的表哥约翰发生冲突，瘦小的她却敢于和表哥扭打，并怒斥他：“你这男孩…… ……”后在学校与海伦相识，彼此相互照顾。直至海伦感染病菌而去，冷酷的校长无视于着一切，但简一个人悲痛了几天几夜。
长大了起初，她先在富有英俊的罗切斯特先生做家教，之后与罗切斯特先生相恋。他们爱得义无返顾。可是简她在此时却毅然离他而去，凭借自己一人的力量在外闯荡漂流。这种“风潇潇易水寒，壮士一去不复反”的坚定主张与不悔行动，完全是夏洛蒂笔下一名勇敢独立女性的一座不朽的里程碑。
那天，我虽然花了两小时将此书“啃”光，但却花了几个星期的时间将它不停的回味。十六岁一个不该轻言“爱”的花季却想说：“他们如此坚定的爱情真是令人羡慕！”——简，没有双亲，没有钱财，雪上加霜的是她并不漂亮。因此她在世人眼中她更失去了魅力！可罗切斯特一点也不在乎这一切而将自己那颗火热的心赤裸裸的交给了简。随后，回来的简，再次看到这位曾经俊俏的罗切斯特为了救自己已“疯”的妻子而失明并且残废。即使是如此巨大的糟糕的变化，却一点也没改变简对他的爱。简毅然重新回到他身边，无微不至的照顾他！
大概正是这颗不离不弃的“真心”感动了上天，在书的结尾罗切斯特先生最终再次“重见光明”。给我们以书外，漫漫的深思。女主人公并没有《红楼梦》中林黛玉的柔情，没有《傲慢与偏见》中伊丽莎白的美丽，但她“简”以自己的顽强独立获得了众人的肯定。

我永远忘不了这向话！
看着窗外三年都未开过的茉莉花，我陷入了茫远的沉思中......三年前，茉莉花飘着一地的香，散落着枝头零星的白，它飞舞着，是真正的舞，每一片都拥有着风姿。有个女孩站在那儿独自欣赏着，那种认真的眼神似乎要把花看透；我不曾想也有一个女孩和我一样爱着花。很自然，我们两个女孩走在了一起，我们都有着易安居士的多愁善感，迷恋着美，喜欢用笔尖磨写磨砺人生，我相信我们有着最真的友谊。
可是一切都来得太快，令人猝不及防。那天余晖洒在脸上很凄很凄。我拿着送给她却已被画得一塌糊涂的照片，我是个敏感的人，我知道这意味着什么“我们绝友吧！”我破口而出。后来我不知道她是如何含着泪离开，也不知道自己是如何哭得一塌糊涂，只知道那是花落的季节。
后来，我知道这是个误会，是她不小心遗失了，被他人刻意画的，我后悔，后悔说过这句话。
有一个网，丝丝缕缕纠结着内心最深处撕心裂肺的'痛。每当我看到茉莉花被风刮得遍体鳞伤，就犹如一个个突出的棱角刺得心鲜淋淋。难道连花儿也想抬起我们这短促的回忆，想收起当天我说过的这句话？茉莉花曾悠悠地快乐过，而如今却只有寂寂地凋落去，如果我再见到你，我一定会对你说：“我并不想绝交。”
有些花，谢了就不再开；有些话，说了就不能收回，逝去的友谊，消逝在似水流年里，淡漠了几许情感，几多岁月……

the radius of the earth is about 6,370 kilometres. it takes the earth 24 hours to rotate once. objects on the earths equator move with the earth at a speed of 460 metres per second, and the air close to the earths surface turns at the same speed. if the earth stopped rotating suddenly, the air would keep flowing eastward at a speed of 460 metres per second. the wind would be fourteen times as powerful as a hurricane. at the same time sea water would rush eastward at a speed of several hundred metres per second, which might do damages much greater than a seaquake would do. obviously, men could hardly stand such a catastrophe.
even if such a catastrophe would not happen, there would be a great temperature difference on the two hemispheres of the earth, and the four seasons of the year would no longer occur because a day and a night would be as long as a whole year instead of 24 hours. all this would greatly affect the life of human beings, imals and plants and that would cause worse results than anything imaginable.
