瀛湖是安康的著名风景区。那里千岛竞秀，景色宜人，被誉为“陕西省最美的人工湖”。另外我听大人们讲，它还是我国西北地区最大的淡水湖呢。
今年秋天，爸爸妈妈带我第一次游览了瀛湖的美景，至今让我难以忘怀。那次，我们共游览了三个岛、一个泉。它们分别是玉兴岛、金螺岛、翠屏岛和玉清泉。
玉兴岛是鸟的天堂，也是我向往已久的地方。一登岛，我就被各种各样的鸟叫声深深地吸引了过去。那里有红嘴黑羽的八哥、美丽如雪的白鸽、身披彩衣的孔雀……其中，我最喜爱的是精致灵巧的玄风鹦鹉。它的嘴巴尖尖的，眼睛小小的，羽毛红绿相间，非常好看。

“年年揽胜人如蚁，波隐瀛湖小蓬莱。”这是赞美瀛湖最美的诗句。还有人把瀛湖比喻得更绝妙：“瀛湖是安康的'一只眼！”
