I am a senior in Peking University. The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is coming in two years. After watching the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, I can not help writing to you.
First of all, here is my suggestion for the preparation work of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The construction work of the sports building must be completed in time according to the contract. In Athens, the swimming stadium was not accomplished in time so that the event had to be held in the open air, which has brought negative effect on the performance of athletes. In one word, to protect the international image of China and ensure the Olympic competition, we must finish our preparation work well and in time.
Last but not least important, I want to express my wish to be a volunteer. In the first place, it is the duty of every Chinese to do his bit for the 2008 Olympic Games. In the second place, I have a good command of foreign languages. I can speak English, Russian, and Japanese. Therefore I can be a qualified volunteer.

每年春节临近交通运输都相当的繁忙，尤其是铁路客运。很多人都选择乘坐火车回家过年，所以导致了春节期间交通压力相当的大，交通枢纽也相当拥挤。
如今，选择乘坐火车回家的人数增加相当的快。因为火车票相对于飞机票来说还是很便宜的，所以很多人宁愿放弃乘坐飞机而选择乘坐火车回家。

清华北大这两所学校，向来都是莘莘学子最渴望的大学，暑假我有幸去参观了清华大学，感触良多。
一进校园我便看到了清华大学的校训“自强不息，厚德载物”，是啊，只有这样一直坚持下去，才能取得好成绩，才能获得成功。
导游姐姐带领我们来到了清华校园内的教学楼前，“数学”两字用繁体大大地写在教学楼顶端，清楚地告诉我们这是一栋数学教学楼。导游告诉我们这栋教学楼是所有教学楼里面历史最悠久的了，它在民国时期就已经建起，至现在已经有近100年的历史了！
接着我们又来到了闻亭。闻亭里面有一口大钟，上面模糊地刻着一些古代人的名字（我没有看清楚，不过好像有“冯保”这个名字）。瞧！好多人都在那儿敲钟呢！
水木清华是清华园中最引人入胜的地方了（本人自封）。房前有一片小池塘，别看它小，可真有些“清水回潆”的味道在里面了。房屋上端的匾额上写着“水木清华”四个大字，两侧对联“槛外山水历春夏秋冬万千变幻都非凡境，窗中云影任东西南北来去谵荡洵是仙居”。这“水木清华”四字典出晋谢叔源的《游西池》诗，“景昃鸣禽集，水木湛清华”。这“湛”字为澄清之意，因工字听后有池，故有谢氏诗句，题为“水木清华”。
不愧是清华大学啊，竟有这许多的名胜古迹，我一定要现在好好学习，争取早日成为一名清华学子！

走到那宽敞的清华大学的大门前，一副景象映入眼帘：古色古香的石头门上写着如“烫金”般的“清华大学”四个字，在那大门前面摆几盆花，什么颜色的`都有：紫的、粉的、红的、黄的……这令人神往的学府敞开大门迎接着人们。
一进门，一片绿色的海洋又出现在我们的面前，这可真称得上是“群英荟萃”，有什么圆柏、红色花槐、垂柳……
听人说清华大学中有几个著名的景点。于是，我们迎着凉风上路了。经过“长途跋渋”，我们终于来到了一个景点，我疑惑不解地问：“这里是哪儿呀？”“清华的大礼堂！”一位与我们同行的大姐姐说道。我想：原来是清华的大礼堂，怪不得这么宏伟，干脆拍几张照片做个纪念吧。心动不如行动，我让姑姑到每个景点时都给我拍几张照片留念。姑姑爽快地答应了。我们继续开始我们的“长征”了。
过了一会，我们来到了清华大学的二校门，只见上面写着三个大字“清华园”，我觉得仿佛自己已变成大学生在清华大学里读书呢！我赶紧让姑姑给我们多拍了几张照片。
之后，我们来到了清华大学的另一个景点——荷塘月色。这个荷塘里到处都是荷叶、荷花。在那里面一片片碧绿的荷叶中还夹杂着几朵含苞欲放的荷花，就像几位含羞的姑娘躲在一把把绿色的伞后。后来，我们又逛了几个景点，认识了不少的奇花异树和建筑。
这次清华大学一游收获真不少呀！

The Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese Lunar New Year, which falls in late January or early February according to Gregorian calendar, is the most important festival for the Chinese as it is an occasion for reunions with family and friends.Particularly, people hope to return home from work or study to have a reunion dinner with families on the Lunar New Years Eve.Hundreds of millions of Chinese people are on journey as the Spring Festival travel season begins. Therefore, Chunyun has created enormous pressure on Chinas transportation sector.
The Ministry of Railway and the National Development and Reform Commission usually issue circulars during the period, demanding that coordination mechanisms be established among transportation departments, different localities and police, and that countermeasures be made in place in case of emergencies to ensure efficiency and a complete success during the peak travel season.
中国人将“春节期间的运输”简称为“春运”，它是对中国交通运输系统的年度考验。
春节，即中国农历新年，通常始于公历一月末或二月初，它是中国人最重要的节日，是家人及亲朋好友团聚的日子。人们尤其希望在学习和工作之后赶回家中与家人一起吃年夜饭。春运期间，数以亿计的中国人都在旅途奔波，因此，它给中国的交通部门造成了巨大的压力。

This is a story about a special and unreserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit.
It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.
Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt，the only relative she had，treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane’s education in Lowwood Orphanage began, she didn’t get what she had been expecting——simply being regarded as a common person, just the same as any other girl around. The suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach Jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything else.As a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, Jane got a chance to be a tutor in Thornfield Garden. There she made the acquaintance of lovely Adele and that garden’s owner, Rochester, a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside. Jane expected to change the life from then on, but fate had decided otherwise: After Jane and Rochester fell in love with each other and got down to get marry, she unfortunately came to know in fact Rochester had got a legal wife, who seemed to be the shadow following Rochester and led to his moodiness all the time ----Rochester was also a despairing person in need of salvation. Jane did want to give him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because she didn’t want to betray her own principles, because she was Jane Eyer. The film has finally got a symbolist end: Jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. After finding Rochester ’s misfortune brought by his original mad wife, Jane chose to stay with him forever.
I don’t know what others feel, but frankly speaking, I would rather regard the section that Jane began her teaching job in Thornfield as the film’s end----especially when I heard Jane’s words “Never in my life have I been awaken so happily. ” For one thing, this ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what Jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, this should be what the audiences with my views hoped her to get. But the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: There must be something wrong coming with the excellence----perhaps not only should another section be added to enrich the story, but also we may see from the next transition of Jane’s life that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you would get.”
What ’s more, this film didn’t end when Jane left Thornfield. For Jane Eyer herself, there should always be somewhere to realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for Rochester, how he can get salvation? The film gives the answer tentatively: Jane eventually got back to Rochester. In fact, when Jane met Rochester for the first time, she scared his horse and made his heel strained, to a certain extent, which meant Rochester would get retrieval because of Jane. We can consider Rochester’s experiences as that of religion meaning. The fire by his frantic wife was the punishment for the cynicism early in his life. After it, Rochester got the mercy of the God and the love of the woman whom he loved. Here we can say: human nature and divinity get united perfectly in order to let such a story accord with the requirements of both two sides. The value of this film may be due to its efforts to explore a new way for the development of humanism under the faith of religion.
