回到家的时候已经六点钟了，妈妈喊他赶紧吃饭，但小月吃饭的时候，他心里还老是想着《十万个为什么》那本书里的内容，小月还把《十万个为什么》拿到饭桌上看，他边看书边吃饭，吃得非常不专心，这样对肠胃很不好的。
到了晚上的时候，小月已经洗漱完毕，爬上床睡觉了。但他翻来覆去总是睡不着，心里挂念他的书没看完，想看书的心痒痒的，他连忙下床把《十万个为什么》拿到床上躺着看，看到眼睛很累睁不开了，才依依不舍把书拿开来睡觉。
几个月过去了，小月发现他看东西模模糊糊的，不像以前那样清晰。小月赶快去医院检测视力。医生告诉小月：他已经轻度近视了，由于用眼不当，不好好爱护眼睛。经常在灯光暗弱的地方看书造成的。并劝告他以后要爱护眼睛，保护视力很重要。小月非常后悔，但事情已经造成了，只好以后注意。小月现在已经知道要好好保护眼睛了，他现在看书的时候都专心致志，再也没同时干别的事情了。
