in my life i have met many people who are really worth recalling. but perhaps the most unforgettable person i ever know is my english teacher. what frequently brings back memories of my school teacher is his special qualities. first of all, he gave us the greatest gift a teacher can offer—an awakening of a passion for learning. he not only led us to an appreciation of the beauty and perfection of english language and literature, but also aroused our great interest in explorating something deeper in this field. second, i was attracted by his lively wit. i remember that we students always anticipated his class with great eagerness because his lecture were humorously delivered, never failing to provoke chuckles or loud laughs. although it is nearly two years since i attended his last class, he is the talk of our old classmates, and i know part of him has already stayed in my heart.

那是小学二年级时，一个星期六的早晨，爸妈没做饭就出去忙农活儿了，叫我在家看家，说等晚点就回家做饭。我一个人玩了一会儿，觉得很没意思，恰好邻居小伙伴李锐也一个人在家，我们俩就在大门口玩游戏。玩了不知多长时间，两家大人还没回，我俩肚子饿得咕咕叫了。正没办法，我忽然看到邻居家桃树上许多桃子从叶里露出来，红通通的，像是熟透了。我就提议说：“我们去摘几个桃子充充饥好不好？”李锐也拍手赞成。我们就拿一根竹棍到树下敲了好几个桃子，吃完各自回家了。
到爸妈回家我家正在吃早饭的时候，忽然听到邻居伯伯在门口大声喊：“哪个细伢把我家的桃子打了，大人要教育啊，别让细伢学着偷东西。”爸爸瞄着我说：“是不是你？”我支支吾吾地说：“我没有。”爸爸严肃地说：“小孩子不能随便拿别人的东西，那是偷，别人会看不起的。”
一整天我很不安，我偷了伯伯家的桃子了，我怕别人说我是小偷。夜里我做了一个噩梦，许多小朋友指着我喊：“小偷！小偷！我们不跟小偷玩！”我吓得大哭起来。爸妈都跑进来问：“怎么了？怎么了？女儿怎么了？”我哭哭啼啼的.把早晨的事说了一遍，爸爸说：“你不跟伯伯说就打桃子是不对的，不过你主动承认错误很不错。我明天带你向伯伯认错好吗？”
第二天一早，爸爸就带我到邻居伯伯家道歉，伯伯说：“小孩子不懂事，只要他知道不能随便拿别人的东西就好。”伯伯还夸我是诚实的好孩子，摘了一大兜桃子给我，说是给我的奖励。
从那以后，我知道了什么叫偷，知道诚实是做人的基本准则。
