一只飞蛾，在寻觅食物。在这黑暗之中，他努力地寻找着食物。终于，它在一张蜘蛛网下找到了食物。可能饥饿冲昏了头脑，顿时飞扑而上，但是却没注意到蜘蛛网的存在。结果，他被支柱网套住了。
这对它来时意味着生命的终结，从某种意义上来说，就是等待这操忙一天的蜘蛛回来看到可口的`美食时，好好地饱餐一顿。可是谁愿意这样呢？它拼命地挣扎着，幸运的是，蜘蛛还没回来，这对它来说是上天给它最大的恩赐。
十分钟过去了……半个小时又过去了……它乏力了，它放松了挣扎。它昏昏欲睡，但是它深刻地知道，睡着之后就不会醒来。但是有一种力量支撑着它，让它无法睡去，那就是希望的光亮，在冥冥的黑暗中，有着这么一丝光亮，那就是希望的光亮。它歇息了一下，继续挣扎，它心中的希望之火在燃烧着。
它在希望的鼓励下，无数次挣扎后，摆脱了蜘蛛网，获得了自由，希望就在那一刻绽放。
人生也一样，在陷入绝境后，希望是帮自己摆脱困境的手。当希望帮自己摆脱黑暗，见到无限光明，希望就在那一刻绽放。

那是在我刚刚上六年级的时候，学校在每个周五的下午使我们的课外体验活动。我报的是“攀岩活动”。刚开始我觉得攀岩很简单但是很快我就觉得这项活动很辛苦。这里几乎是七年级的学长报的。而我就成为了这里最小的。刚刚攀岩的时候我看到学长们爬的很是轻松。但是等到我爬到攀岩墙的四分之一的'时候我往下看，发现好高。这是我发现我的脚已经软了。就当我准备放弃的时候我想到了以前读到的一个故事：
有一个探险家在沙漠里迷失了方向，他的食物被他用完了，他的水壶里只有一点点可以维持生命的水。他艰难地寻找着路。当他发现不远处有一个水井和一个桶但是他不知道里面还有没有水。探险家突然意识到自己陷入了两难境地。
他十分苦恼，如果他把水壶丢进去那么只会发生两种情况
1.是会听见水波动的声音这样他就能活下去。
2.是水壶破碎的声音，这样他就会渴。探险者最终放弃了，但是他在两天后因为没有水而渴了。
还有一个探险家同样也在沙漠了迷失了方向，他的食物也被他用完了。他也突然意识到自己陷入了两难境地。但是他并没有放弃他将自己的水壶扔了进去，他立刻这时水井开始发出隆隆的响声，他激动极了他立刻把水桶倒满，猛是一大口。接着探险者就把水倒入自己的的袋子。
然后，探险者将水桶再一次打满水，准备留给后来的路人，并且他拿出一张纸写了几个字：不要放弃希望！
想到这里我顿时有了勇气去继续攀岩，通过不懈的努力，我终于攀到了顶峰。
有时候当我们遇到挫折的时候，很多人都想着逃避，而正真不会放弃希望的人有多少？希望其实就在眼前，只是你没有注意到它。

On its journey, the flame will be seen by and inspire more human beings than any previous relay.
I am afraid I cannot draw the whole picture of our cultural programs within such a short period of time. Actually, what we have shown you here today is only a fraction of Beijing that awaits you.Ladies and gentlemen, I believe that Beijing will prove to be a land of wonders to athletes, spectators and the worldwide television audience alike.
