俄罗斯套娃的制作最早的创意就是为了取悦孩子而做成的木头娃娃，孩子们都喜欢童话故事，于是故事里的人物、动物都被做成了娃娃。随着时间的推移，套娃形成了特有的风格，大小不一的娃娃一个套着一个，让人更觉有趣。
关于套娃，还有一个故事：相传俄罗斯民族有两家表亲相邻，表兄妹童年相伴长大，后来表兄远走它乡，由于思念家乡的表妹，每年续做木娃娃，一年比一年做的娃娃大。数年后，见到表妹就将一排木娃娃送给她，以表达思念之情。后人模仿传称套娃，又名吉祥娃娃。
制作套娃要在春天的时候，把树砍下，把皮剥掉，然后放好长时间，有的甚至要放一两年，把水分蒸发掉才能做。如果要做十五个的，必须需要用非常薄的木料。
我的套娃外形是一个活泼可爱的小姑娘，一双炯炯有神的眼睛，一张樱桃小嘴，笑得合不拢。她头戴着一个红色的纱巾，穿着一条深蓝色的小纱裙，头上还戴着蓝色的小花，好看极了。套娃就像妈妈和她的孩子，她们一个套一个，所以叫套娃。
套娃象征着快乐，幸福，所以我很喜欢套娃。套娃是一个装着美好记忆的小娃娃，只要一打开这个套娃，我就会想起一些愉快美好的事情。

它的颜色跟“上海”的“海”字很搭，蓝蓝的。给人一种拥抱海的感觉，让我们能随时感觉到世博会就在我们的身边。它长15厘米，宽10厘米左右。看起来小了点，但戴在脖子上，显得很小巧玲珑。它摆的是一个跳跃欢呼的样子，这代表的我们中国人对外国人的欢迎和友好。唯一巧妙的地方就是把它的头做成了表，用的是个透明的玻璃把里面的表针罩着，里面的2个大大的眼睛都看的很清楚，因为周围没有数字，看时间可要自己揣摩揣摩啊！不过看习惯就好了，凡事都有一个过程！一点困难正是我们青少年所应该克服的。而且在它的最上边有根有弹性的橡胶绳子把它串着，橡胶的绳子使它不容易断，也不会有折痕，看起来很美观。尤其是在夏天戴在脖子上冰冰凉凉，舒服极了。你把它戴在胸前，既可以当装饰品又可以当表看。真是一举两得啊！
一件小小的物品，对我们就意义非凡。但在生活中往往很少人才会体验到，那么我们就要用心去感受身边的每一件工艺品，用眼睛去发现身边的每一件工艺品吧！

烟缸，一件极为普通的家庭摆设，很难把它与工艺品相提并论。但如果加工它的原料不再是普通的玻璃，而是玲珑剔透的水晶，效果可就完全不一样了。
我家就有一只水晶烟缸。虽然很少让它执行其盛放烟灰的职责，但它仍然受到了全家人的欢迎，它的工艺太精妙了，外观太优美了。
它的外观轮廓是圆盘形。底面直径约15CM，四壁与底面垂直，高5cm左右。
简洁的外部结构，给人以朴素大方之感，而见缝插针般的各式花纹则变化多端，令人目不暇接。
两条垂直相交的凹槽把缸底分成四个区，每个扇形区内又以此交点的远点为中心，对称分布着四个向日葵图案。周围配上象征道道阳光的辐射状对称条纹，使得缸底花纹不仅有围案画的严谨工整，又有创作画的独持构思，体现了制作者独到的匠心。
缸壁上的图案更为丰富而富于变化。摆尾的鲤鱼，拢翅的蝙蝠，衔灵芝的梅花鹿交替在缸壁上出现，一点儿也不显得杂乱。以它们为主体，配以周围的梅花、竹枝、海浪、龙门等景物，组成了一幅幅生动的图画。这些图画都充满了吉祥的气氛，又各有特色，变化和规律在此处得到了完美的统一。
所有组成图案的线条都是精心雕刻而成的。多以平头起刀，在末端延伸成一尖锐的箭头，颇似毛笔书法中的“悬针竖”，体现了制作者深厚的艺术功底。
水晶本身无色透明，但对光的折射效果却很好。加上这些精心雕琢的花纹，更使它能十分强烈地折射阳光。日光的七种色彩在被折射后，一分离出来，在缸壁附近组成了一个个光点，一条条光线，一道道光环，变换观察角度，就会觉得光点好像是挂在梅花上的露珠；光线是海上日出时四射的金光；而那道道光环则如延伸了的彩虹，把整个缸体层层包围起来。
为了不使它的光华埋没于烟灰之下，不使它的美丽掩盖在烟雾之中，全家人从未把它当作烟缸使用过。也许出于同样的心情，即使有吸烟嗜好的人也会因不忍破坏这件工艺品的完美而减少甚至戒除吸烟陋习吧。难道是为了这，工匠们才把它雕得这么美吗？
